At this time, the kindergarten students are outside on the playground, so they don't hear it. 

In the classroom (Grade 2/3), students talk/shout/play during the Land Acknowledgement and the Mentor Teacher doesn't address this. The only time where there was decision about it was during the week of Truth and Reconciliation day.

It's also Treaty Week at the school, but I am unsure what they are doing for it. During the morning announcements the principal does the land acknowledgement, however, the class schedule during the week makes it a bit difficult to build off of the morning announcements because the students have french class first thing in the morning on Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays. The school has also provided different resources for all the teachers to use in their class. This week is treaty week as well so they gave the classes resources to learn more about some of the treaties and the communities which my teacher has done everyday so far which the students connect with and like learning more about.
