- some threats or challenges we have experienced could be the amount of effort we put into debate. It a challenge to get everyone interested and i think its something we should definitely work on

- i think instead of going hardcore we need to start encouraging people to talk more openly and enjoy debate through more activities besides just debating. We could have some cca session to prepare some topics tak about general things on tuesdays etc

We can also open up a debate corner so that there ks supply kf debate books, articles or cue cards etc

- these methods may not necessarily be effective at once but they are definitey a positive step towards encouraging the debating spirit :)

- implement some of the ideas that the cca suggests try it out see if ut works :) if it doesnt we will think of other ways as a cca :)

This allows us to develop our character or debating skills. Some of these skills can also be applied to our daily lives. This includes our confidence when presenting or talking in general. I think the threats we have experienced is as how we do not seem to be able to improve and become a better debater, our learning seems to have become stagnated. We have many debating opportunities at least for the Sec 2 batch, like RIU14, green cup, SPDO, And SAS. There were also other events or competitions like PSDO and the speech arts competition 

]]> 2018-08-28 09:24:12 UTC https://padlet.com/karthikeyansamyukta/wwm3k5h25ij1/wish/275806408 https://padlet.com/karthikeyansamyukta/wwm3k5h25ij1/wish/276918516 Some of the threats we have experienced in CCA, include how it feels like our learning has been stagnated, since many of us either do not know how to use the feedback received to improve ourselves, do not know how to properly improve our skills, or learn new skills due to sessions seeming to lack variety, causing many of us to feel like we are only doing the same debating over and over again without learning anything. 

We can take on such threats by working on one improvement at a time. We can identify one particular area for improvement in an individual and monitoring each individuals' progress in that particular area per session. When they have improved sufficiently in that area such that it is no longer a problem, another area for improvement can be identified and all of this should be tracked down each week in a CCA document to monitor each member's areas for improvement and the progress they have made. 

These methods should be effective if  members take it seriously and if those in charge monitor members carefully and stay committed to making use of the framework.
