We loved to see how well organized the school is: lovely and talented kids from kindergarden to primary, friendly staff, delicious lunch with pina colada, colorful new facilities with functional learning environments. It was great to see how the whole school works as a community. The French education system and learning materials were introduced to us. When you look at the class you see all the same characteristics that you could see in your own class. The school was really net, all new and clean. I loved the kids' school uniform, jeans and light blue t-shirt. Jeans are so easy to get, and this uniform makes everyone equal, for sure. The staff was friendly and ready to answer our many questions. Today we visited primary and pre-primary school - L'ecole de Grand Camp 1 in Les Abymes. Teacher  Julie Elbourg, who is engage in many projects , was presented the school sistem in Guadeloupe, which is the same as in France, because island is overseas deparment.

The pupils showed us different parts of the school. They danced with us. I don't know , who enjoy more ? During the lovely guided tour we had a possibility to see the new and the brightly colored building. The education system of Guadeloupe was presented by the lovely teacher Juliet. The atmosphere in the class was open and children seem to respect each other and teachers. The activities in the school were well organised and everything was in order.  It was also good to see that there were many kinds of extra support for those children who needed it. After the lovely meal provided by the school we had a change to learn a new dance with the children. Great fun! At the end of the day we had  a French quiz with the children. It was not easy, but I passed it! I've got many informations about educational sistem in Guadeolupe, I noticed how the pupils was open to us, they asked us about names, from where we come and they were happy to host us. I enjoy to be a part of them.
