The head of the metropolitan municipality IT department, İsa Sağlam, hosted us and answered our students' questions with his staff. He then toured the building with our students and explained the work that was done. Our students also learned about the services they could receive from the local government as citizens. ıt was a great and fruitful day.

We learned a lot about the services the municipality offers, and we were particularly interested to discover the "adopt a park" or "adopt a tree" program.

Inspired by this, we then visited a small park next to our school. We observed its current state and brainstormed ideas for improvements and how we could help care for it. It was a great opportunity to see firsthand what changes could be made!

Following our visit, we decided to take action! We've prepared a letter to the City of Athens, outlining our proposals and ideas for the park. We're excited to share our suggestions and hope to contribute to making our community greener and more beautiful.
