(2) setting - Rosewood Academy and the Maravish Palace
(3) Conflict - Ellie is the Maravish Princess and she wants to go to boarding school. There she meets a girl named Lottie who has always dreamed of being a princess. Ellie, on the other hand hates the fact that she is a princess. So when people start thinking that Lottie is the princess, Ellie goes with Lottie to the Maravish palace to ask if they can make it official. So Lottie becomes Ellie's Portman. They are going to go to a ball as part of Lottie's new job as a portman. At the ball someone who she thought was her friend ends up kidnapping her.

By her stepmother, and then other classmates unintentionally hurt her feelings sometimes because they think her last name is silly. 
(2) I found it hard to understand what Lottie is going through because she gets the chance to pretend to be a princess, and get PAID to do it. So her problems are a lot different than mine. 
(3) This book was great for me as a reader. (1) She lives at a boarding school and shares a room with her best friend. I live my family's house with my own room.
(2) She is best friends with a princess. I don't personally know any princesses and I am definitley not best friends with any.
(3) The boarding school she goes to is haunted by a ghost. She turns out to be related to that ghost. And the ghost has royal blood. That means that Lottie has royal blood too. I had a hard time understanding this part because when she found out she had royal blood she told no one. Only her two closest friends knew.
(4) She has a job.
