It covers her communication struggles, issues with judgement and much more. She, first of all, is very intelligent and has issues with people assuming she is dumb because of her ailment. She joins her schools quiz team and gains confidence and praize from it, her team even making it to the finals. But that's when it all goes wrong, first of all a large storm causes the flights to be shut down, but Melody would have made her flight if the team had informed her.
