I created this as a NON-EXAMPLE for students to compare to the assignment rubric, in the hopes that students would be inspired to create a video, as an alternative to a writing piece. This live document was used as an opportunity for students to share what makes them happy and how it makes them feel. After students responded individually, they were tasked with reading other students' responses, and drawing generalized conclusions.          <description><![CDATA[<div>  | The online teacher is able to review materials and online resources for their alignment with course objectives.<br><br>For the Second Semester English Content Live Session, English III students were tasked with reading a fable and determining how the moral of the story contributes to the theme.  After making this determination, students were to compare he fable to a modern day television show, book or movie which reveals the same theme. I shared two short YouTube video examples of advertisements which reveal the theme of "The Tortoise and the Hare" to help students conceptualize and align the course objectives.          <description><![CDATA[<div>  | The online teacher is able to arrange media and content to help transfer knowledge most effectively in the online environment.<br><br>For this component of Standard I, I am providing the first two slides from an English Content Live Session, "Preparing to Publish." These introductory slides were intended to both engage students with an interactive hook, but also to use visuals to help students discern between formal and informal writing.
