The way that I would love to do it with How They Croaked is have each of the groups act out the person's situation. Some students do better learning if they are hands on with the project. I believe this would allow students to put their own personalities on the characters. It would also benefit me to get to see those sides of the students. The projects will be done both at home and at school. I will allow time for students to work on the projects during school but what they don't finish at school they will have to finish at home. They will then have time during the class period to prep for their presentation. The groups will be assigned by what person they have decided to research. If a group as more members than others, then I will make some rearrangements to make sure all groups have about the same number of students. I will a lot 25 mins in the groups and 5 of those minutes will be used to plan how they are going to act out their persons plot. The grading will be not on their performance skills but on what information they are able to give during the performance. The information they provide will determine how well they understand the material.
