My name is David Alvarez Artemio and I come from Florencia, Caquetá, Colombia. Currently, I work as a merchant while pursuing my studies in political science. In my free time, I am passionate about training in mixed martial arts, which keeps me physically fit and mentally sharp. Although I am a single man without any children, also I like to keep myself busy and constantly learn new things. Watching sports documentaries is one of my favorite pastimes, as I find them informative and inspiring. Overall, I try to balance my work, studies, and hobbies to live a fulfilling and meaningful life.

I currently reside in Sogamoso, Boyacá, with my family. I share my parents' house with my mother, younger sister, and younger brother. Sogamoso is a quiet and charming town that's home to many hard-working people. It boasts several attractions, including an archaeological museum, the Great Lake of Tota, beautiful parks, and various exotic bird species, such as the Andean condor. In my neighborhood, there is a thriving economy, with many businesses like pharmacies, bakeries, butchers, supermarkets, and hardware stores. We even have a pizza shop nearby, providing a range of choices for residents in the area. 

My daily routine is quite structured. I wake up at 5:00 am every morning and start my day with a refreshing shower. At 9:00 am, I have a hearty breakfast consisting of two scrambled eggs, three toasts, and a cup of coffee. Then, I catch a taxi to work. At 2:00 pm, I take a break to have lunch. I usually have a plate of beans, rice, patacon, and avocado, which is both delicious and nutritious. After finishing work at 8:00 pm, I take a nap for a couple of hours before resuming my studies and training. At 8:30 pm, I have a light dinner, consisting of an oatmeal shake with banana and a cup of granola. I go to bed at 10:00 pm to ensure that I get enough rest. On weekends, I help with cleaning my house and spend time with my friends. Additionally, I devote around 8 hours a week to studying English.

Siento que este aprendizaje me brinda nuevas oportunidades de conocerme a mí mismo y a mi entorno en ámbitos laborales que impliquen afrontar nuevos retos y el conocimiento de nuevas culturas en un nivel más personal.
