The antagonist in this book is many people. The antagonist is are the citizens in Paris who are against people who may express themselves in a way that they are showing the opposite gender. For example Sebastian's father did not approve of Sebastian's ways to express himself.

The main conflict in the Prince and the Dressmaker is very controversial. In society at the dawn of modern day not many people thought the same as people who wanted to express themselves differently. Sebastian is one of those people, he is respected differently because he likes to dress up as a woman. This is one of the reason why we have pride month to show that people may express themselves now as they please.

The resolution in the story was heart warming and touching. Sebastian's father had finally understood why he expressed himself. Only because he felt more like himself as a different gender. So his father embraced his sons ways and did something to show Sebastian that he cared. So he dressed up as a girl and walked down a runway to show Sebastian that he does not have to feel ashamed.

The lesson learned is very meaningful and is why we have pride month. It comes to show that you have to embrace who you are. No matter what flaw you think you have take pride in it and stand up for it.
