I was in the 9th grade. Before initiating the religious ceremony, we practiced for weeks as a batch and it wasn't taken lightly. Although, receiving the sacrament felt glorious as I got to receive the said sacrament along with my batch mates.

When I was a 2nd year JHS student, I remembered having my very first communion with Grade 4 students. They were shocked when they saw me and some of my classmates in the event with them, wearing the same clothes like them. At that time, we were quite ashamed of ourselves because of how late it was for us to do this particular sacrament. However, one of the nuns in our school assured us that it was never late to do so. Looking back, I was glad to have experienced this wonderful event. Not only was I able to witness and felt something grand, but I was also able to met individuals that will forever be in my heart.

One of the greatest memories I have during those sacraments was having my parents by my side, my friends//classmates are also one of the elements that completed these things for example having catechism together which creates bonding moments such as answering fun activities that make us laugh the whole time. <3

Despite growing up in the Ilocos Region, I did not master the language but I do understand the words but only a few. So, in the time of my confirmation, all of the people beside me understood what the priest is saying or the instructions, and there was a need of saying the phrase," Kasta Kumakenka" that means same with you. I was embarrassed because I had trouble saying it. In the end, I managed to finish it and it was a fun experience.
Fact: Confirmation was held in Namacpacan Church in Luna, La Union

I am honored to be the head commentator during our First Communion back in third grade. It is such a memorable day for me because at an early age, I was able to coordinate the whole celebration between the presider and everyone. I felt happy receiving my first hostia that time, too.

Though I couldn't remember anything, I've seen some photos of when I was baptized and I looked so small that I wouldn't think that was actually me. I was wearing all white and looked cute (partly because I'm a baby hehe).

I couldn't remember in detail what happened, but one thing is for sure, I was oozing with happiness as I got to spend it with my dearest friends and family. Although I couldn't remember their faces vividly, I could remember the smiles that we shared together as we were about to start yet another journey with our Savior. It was indeed a memorable day for me.

I received the sacrament of Confirmation during my 8th grade. Our adviser wanted this ceremony to be memorable for us and it was indeed memorable because I got to experience this with my classmates. I was named after St. Bernadette. My family was there and felt happy because I received this sacrament of Confirmation which made me become more than a Catholic than before.

I was in Grade 4 when I had my first communion and I remember that my classmates and I were scared because we were told that we have to write our sins and confess them in front of the priest. When the day of celebration came, I was not ready. I even crammed the list of my sins. Nonetheless, I actually felt relieved to have confessed my sins.

I remember the day of our Confirmation that we, me and my classmates, find it funny and strange that we get tapped, or the term we used "slapped", on our cheek by the bishop.

I had no idea how important the Eucharist was when I was a child. I just thought it was some sort of snack. I remember walking up to the priest who was holding wine for the people to drink as well. 5 year old me thinking it was juice so when i drank it I spat out the wine i drank and everyone in the church looked at me with anger in their eyes HAHAHA. Then I got lectured by family afterwards. Funny memory hehe

I was in 2nd grade when I received my first Holy Communion together with my classmates. It was celebrated by our bishop in St. Joseph's Cathedral in Balanga, Bataan. I remembered that our parents were really happy and they took lots of pictures.

I do not have any recollection from my baptism, but I do remember fragments of being confirmed. I find it funny how during the assembly for our confirmation in Santo Domingo Church, the classmate that I sat with would later go on to be my romantic partner. Being confirmed so you can officially marry in the Church and being with a future partner shows how some things really are just destined to happen.
