They seem the same, but upon closer inspection, seem different with each having a unique story. In this exhibition, we will go through 3 eras in history: Roman, Egyptian, and Islamic.

1) The Glass Gladiator Cup depicts a battle scene between four pairs of men. Each man is recognized with the Latin inscription above him. Although this cup is chipped and cracked, there's still a lot to learn on this cup.
2) The Cup, which was created during the Egyptian era, consists of eight repeating inscriptions, "baraka li-sahibihi," which means "Blessing upon its owner."
3) The Goblet With Applied Decoration showcases a conic cup with simple swirls that embellish the bottom half. It gives off a vibe of sophistication and elegance upon first glance. The decorations are easier to read when the cup is filled with wine. 

Aurelia Tan, the curator, wanted to showcase different types of glass cups through different time periods in history.
