| Webtool chosen: link and short description | https://quizlet.com It’s an easy-to-use free online tool, though which you can access several flashcards and allows you to create sets of words, share materials, create groups and do online interactive activities. It allows voice recording (to improve pronunciation and/or listening abilities) and the range of activities you can create is really interesting.

But my opinion is that - as everything in this world - there are a number of positive aspects which are balanced by some negative ones. Of course CLIL strengths include the possibility to teach/learn a FL in a more natural way than in "traditional" lessons, and the integration of different contents makes the students get used to being more flexible and "ready". Furthermore, CLIL contexts offer a wide variety of social and cultural dimensions in which learners can approach FL (even if this of course brings them into a harder cognitive effort). There are numberless ways in which teachers can vary and differentiate the activities to make them more suitable and effective for children (according to learning styles), so CLIL major point of strength id definitely its flexibility. On the other hand, we cannot ignore that in a Country like Italy - and especially in some areas like the South, where Italian is barely spoken in small towns or villages - bringing CLIL into the classroom becomes way more challenging, since the focus on FL has always been (and remains) a challenge itself, without the complication of teaching a non-language content. So if students lack proper competence in FL, CLIL risks to become useless or a bit elitist. Plus, students (and very often their families) are not motivated enough in this sense, and they see no point in such practice. In any case the most serious drawback in my opinion is that CLIL practice may lead to two possible outcomes: either students concentrate on understanding the language and miss (a part of) the content, or students grasp the content and - when the time comes for them to actively become a part of the process - produce a language output, which is understandable, and makes sense from a content perspective, but which contains many flaws from a language perspective.

| Week 2 has almost come to its end and we are all waiting for the test/assignment. I find week 2 has been quite challenging for all of us here (both for the technical problems and for the activities), but I discovered tons of new ideas for my teaching! I find webtools really useul but still I have a doubt sometimes about the effectiveness of having a tablet for every student. I have no experience of Extensive reading in CLIL practice, and actually I have no experience of ER at all, but this week's activities have definitely given me the chance to get more acquainted with such practice, and I will for sure introduce it tio my students in the future!

I am very happy I managed to complete all the tasks as best as I could, despite the many difficulties. I am not supposed to carry out CLIL activities, since I am an English teacher, but I made my try here because I would like to "import" such practice in my school.

Every week and with every activity I discovered tons of stimulating readings, webtools and possibilities which will definitely improve my teaching beyond CLIL. My favourite webtools are Tagul (for reading/vocabulary) and Learning Designer... I will never be able to let them go!

An activity of mine I am particularly satisfied for is the PowerPoint presentation of Week 5. Despite being fiull of flaws and maybe missing some aspects of the Clil lesson/path, I realised it in extreme psychological condition (scrutini were being made, and I was very tired), but I could in any case prepare a project which has (almost) everything I wanted to include.

If I could turn back time to Week 1, I think I would do exactly what I did and they way I did it, because this was the best I could do at that moment.

My feelings? They are partly expressed (week by week) in my infographic. The only one missing is gratitude for the opportunity I was given.
