We are a class of 17 second graders from Braeside Elementary School in Highland Park, Illinois. That's on the north shore of Chicago. About 10% of the Illinois Lake Michigan shoreline is in our city. Summers are a great time for the beach here, but winters are way too cold. That's when we go ice skating, sledding, and build a snowman here. Hi!!! We are a class of 18 second graders from Charles E. Boger Elementary School in Kannapolis, NC. Our school is 2 schools in 1 this year as Royal Oaks Elementary is being rebuilt. This year we are calling our school Royal Boger. We are a class of 16 students in Grade 2. We live in Centreville, New Brunswick, Canada and go to Centreville Community School. We are a K-8 school with about 180 students. We have a great place to live and are a rural area. There are a lot of farms around here, especially potato and dairy farms. We have LOTS of open spaces! Our community is close to the longest covered bridge in the world, in Hartland and McCain foods (as in McCain French Fries) was started here in the next community to us, Florenceville. We have a classroom pet, Bubbles a beta fish and some darkling beetles.
