The really cool part of having students for as long as we do&nbsp;is that we get to build a lasting relationship with students and we get to work for a much longer time to build that passion and respect to last them for the rest of their lives. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I love the thought of vertical alignment from K-12 music. Having a well-scripted curriculum map that gives not only the instructors but the students/families a structure of the experience that a child could or should have in music may give more "buy-in" or consideration to retention and excitement of what they are doing in their music classrooms.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Music isn't an essential part of learning, but it is an essential part of a holistic curriculum.&nbsp; Or an essential part of our civilization.&nbsp; Or an essential part of a complete education.&nbsp; (or similar...)<br>Furthermore, how are we distinguishing between love, enjoyment, understanding, and respect?&nbsp; Could we just say a lifelong love and understanding of music?&nbsp; Or is there another essential component that we wish to include?&nbsp; Is respect and enjoyment&nbsp; different enough to stand on their own as goals?&nbsp; Lastly, should there be any mention of collaboration, or the communal/cultural significance of music-making as a group?</div>]]></description>
