      <description>Now we have looked at different religions and how they express their spirituality. 

There are many different ways. In many of the major world religions this usually takes the form of belonging to a wider community and specific commitments and duties. 
Task: Create a mind map/mood board which shows 3 religions from the table you need to include: 
How these religions express and experience spirituality? 
How do spiritual truths or ideas in the religion lead to certain actions ? e.g. love thy neighbour – Christianity – help each other
You could do this on padlet, google slides, canva or by hand. You have two lessons to complete this. It will be marked using the I&amp;S rubric Criterion C and D.</description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The term "spirituality" can be used to describe both our innermost thoughts and feelings as well as the things in life that move us, give us hope, and inspire us. For muslims, they express spirituality by praying. They must pray five times a day in order to stay spiritually connected to God and to remind muslims of their ultimate goal in life.<br><br>Muslim establish a true connection with Allah, the One True God for Islam people. Muslims can use dua to communicate with their Creator. It is the most effective approach to supplicate, speak, and invoke Allah. For believers, dua is an essential component of their faith since it can create a bridge to connect their beliefs with their gods, Allah.<br><br>The 5 pillars include <br>-&nbsp; Testimony of Faith (Shahadah)<br>- Prayer (Salah)<br>- Charity (Zakah)<br>- Fasting (Sawm)<br>- Pilgrimage (Hajj)<br><br>Every Muslim begins their worship by professing their faith. Then, daily prayer is a daily milestone. Every year, they give 2.5% of their savings to poor, needy, and oppressed people. In order to purify the mind, body, and heart, fasting is a vital activity. Last but not least, every Muslim must perform pilgrimage once in their lives if they are physically and financially able to do so.<br><br>Also, muslim who experience a spiritual journey will need to demand a change in lifestyle, including a simple lifestyle, a life avoiding luxury or comfort.&nbsp;<br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>According to Worship in Islam, they will donate money to an annual charity given to the poor. Charity will one of a vital sources of social welfare for Islam.&nbsp;<br><br>They also pray five times each day to be spiritually connected to God and to be reminded of their ultimate goal in life.&nbsp;<br><br>Additionally, they will need to own pets. Muslims will be held accountable for their pet ownership on the Day of Judgment. Anyone who decides to acquire a dog must be aware of their responsibility to provide the animal with food, shelter, training, exercise, and medical attention.</div>]]></description>
