We would do similar things such as jump rope or hopscotch, but we did not sow oats so that's a little different from us than them.

I notice that the main character feels bad for what she has thought in the past. Annabelle just wants life to go back to the way that it was before Betty. In the text Annabelle states, "I wanted to rewind the clock to where it had been before she arrived. I wanted to undo. To be unremember. To be who I had been before: someone who had never prayed for blisters. Someone who had never considered doing so" (Wolk 63). When she says she is showing how mature she is because she showing great amounts of remorse for her previous actions. Also Annabelle believes that if things went back to the way they were before Betty then she wouldn't have to feel the extreme regret for what she has done.

Someone who had never considered doing so." I don't think she should be regretful for wishing those things because she has done many bad things to her, animals, and people she loves. she threatened her brothers, hit her with a stick, and killed a quail. I think wishing harm upon her is sort of justifiable considering Betty's actions.

I was waiting for what felt like forever in agony for Annabelle to confess and to get Betty in trouble. I am happy Annabelle opened up to the adults so they can fix the problem. But I think things are going to get really complicated for Annabelle now that she told on Betty. I think Betty is now going to do everything in her power to make Annabelle's life horrible because she told on her.

Annabelle states " Ruth lost her eye. It was as simple as that." that is almost crazy that someone would throw a rock at someones eye and even if they weren't aiming for them the chances that it could hit someones eye are small you would need a small rock that would not hit there eye lids or the bone below or above your eye and they threw the rock with enough force so that it made her eye bleed. Then you would have to count in anyone who would actual throw the rock and from what we read there is only Betty and when Annabel almost interrogated her she said well what if they were aiming for the German so that makes me believe the Betty is the person who actually threw the rock because she was almost defending her self.

I feel glad that Annabelle said this. Annabelle isn't stating the specifics in why, but she just seems so done with Betty at this point and wanted her out of her life. This doesn't mean everything after will be happy. I'm sure Annabelle has a lot of trauma from Betty and there is more to come.

In the text Mr. Glengarry states, "That's enough now. Toby's crazy. Everybody knows that. And you can't expect anything but crazy business from a crazy man"(Wolk 91). When Betty's father is making this statement it is clear that he has no doubt in his mind that what Betty's saying isn't true. The way that Betty is able to manipulate her parents so well is because of the way she acts. At school Betty is a bully but at home she is a scared little girl.

I thought that it was very unique for a book to add almost an ascent that you can imagine its when Mr. Ansel said "goot morgan" I thought that I relay brought out how the character sounded and I am pretty sure that everyone else at my table agreed because I heard Xander talking about it but to say it again I have never seen this done in A book before where they change the words to have different letters so you can almost hear there voice.

I think that it was very rude and like a boss move from when Andy entered the school. He just said wheres Betty and when no one heard him in my opinion I think he was almost like I own this place why argent you answering me and so he said it much louder. Then when that happened the teacher answered and when she said no Betty was not here then he just left like school dint matter witch it did not for the boys anyway because they where just going to work on the farm anyway so originally I thought that he did not care about school but then I heard wheres Betty then I thought why would he want to talk to Betty and then he just left so I thought that he might be looking for betty.
