A teacher that is consistent is one that follows through with any kind of consequence that has been previously stated. Therefore, a teacher must also be persistent when giving consequences to all students. For example, stretching, tensing and relaxing muscles, or visualizing objects are all simple and creative ways to calm down in a stressful situation.
