At the time of Mesozic era there wasfour major groups of reptails.  There was ichthyosaurs, plesiosaurs, marine turtles, and the mosasurs. During that era most of the group four were air breathers, meaning they didn´t have gills. The ancestors of Ichtyosaurs are likely related to sharks, killer whales, and porpoises. Ichtyosaurs, and mosasurs were even larger then the meat eaters (dinosuars) Ichthyosurs were small but not long, likes fishs. By the time Triassic came by that type of group got really large by 50-foot or a little bit higher. Shoniaurus remains found in Nevada with really big skulls discovered in Canada.

The plate tectonics were land on earth started to move by time (millions of years) 200 million yaers ago were dino roamed the earth which help move pole to pole. 100 million years ago were water was 80 percent of the earths part. 50 million years ago is were mointains started to developed after the end of Cretaceous period. Present day is where you can see how it was before by measuring the rocks to tell the years way back. One of the early life was in the ocean, the cells or you could say photothesis. Hainosaurs grew to length more then 90 feet tal into varisty of shapes and sizes. 

Sea Monster stories always be told around the globe, many and all are fantasy. Coiling serpent is discribed as Leviathan in the bible.  The most famous photograph of the legendary creature was taken in 1934 by a British guy. It was shape like a sea momster. probabley Elasmosur. Olaus Magnus took great care to label the creatures on his Carta Marina and provide an cool key to what they were which suggests that he spotted animals he believed to be real. And some of the animals on his map can be related to real animals, such as the walrus, the blue whale and the giant squid. But other animals were more fanciful. This sea monster duo includes a lobster, just one described as 12 feet long. The monster dining on lobster is apparently a sea rhinoceros, but unlike most of the other sea monsters on Olaus's map, this one was not named in his key. The sea rhino was likely inspired by a real animal, but not one that ever lived in the ocean.

A most terrible creature, resembling nothing they saw before. The monster lifted its head so high that it seemed to be higher than the crows nest on the mainmast. The head was small and the body short and wrinkled. The unknown creature was using giant fins which propelled it through the water. Later the sailors saw its tail as well. The monster was longer than our whole ship. A lot of people dont really belive but theres investagtion of foils.
