They are fulfilling a key role in medicine, biological and medical research. They often work with the x-rays, ultrasounds, magnetic and electric fields, infra-red and ultraviolet light, heat and lasers.&nbsp;</div><div>Most of medical physicist work in hospitals diagnosing imaging departments, the cancer treatment facilities or in hospital-based research establishments.
