The line "each other's world entire" resonates with me the most because it really gives you a feeling of loneliness and desperation as all the had really was just each other. I think the world can feel that way when you face it with a friend or partner. It is you guys against the world. 
2. One thing I noticed while annotating that I may not have noticed before was how the man acted like the monster in his dream. He looked around, but did not find anything and ended up retreating. It resonated with me the most because it paints such a clear picture of the world around the father and son. It also contributes heavily to the tone of hopelessness in the story. The line "they set out along the blacktop in the gunmetal light, shuffling through the ash, each others world entire" felt like it had the most importance to me because not only does it give a description of the dark world they are living in but it also shows what they have to go through each day. 2.
