In my point of view, this quote is related to the eager of each person which may be different from others. For the person who always want to know and to learn, they will ask a lot of question on what is happening around them. They will get their satisfaction when they get the answer. It such a good quote..about the growth of living and how to survive.. From my understanding, its such a good advice giving from a dad to his child.. An advice which start from how the baby growth with the first breathing until the child able to talk..than he ask his child to survive by being with people and learn from the experience..he expect his child to be independent in the future

In my point of view,this quote tell us :

It’s normal in our life because we never ever satisfied with what we own. That’s why the quote always repeats if, if and if.

When we have something, we still want theothers.

From there, we start to search the ways to get it.

But, not all we want. We will get it.

If we fail to get what we want, we will learn how to manage or solve it for the next time.

And if we get it, we will be inspired to get better than that or maintain it.

From there, we gain an experience.

Experience will teach us how to stand, how to face it and anything.

If there are no ups and downs in our life, it’s mean we are dead. ;)

At first, i would like to say that i'm opposing to your quote. For me, i don't think that someone can feel alive only and only if he or she done all those things that you've been beautifully quote. What about someone who really think about a thing, but then he don't even done the searching process and don't even want to experience that thing. Does we consider that he is not alive? i'm telling this is because there are people like this out there and they are still happily live.

But, when we think deeply on what have you quote there, we will know that all those words, it gives different meaning from what have we been thought about.

Its such a wonderful word that I've ever heard. it tells about a life of a person from the time she is born until now. Let say that this is a story of my life. Its such a long journey from birth until i got study at this UiTM. I am sure that every one have been through many of hardships to get here. So, what make us different from people who are not feel excitement of their life is that, we learn from the hardship and maybe once we stuck in the middle of the hardship.But then, we think a way out from the hardship and keep going in our life. From that we learn and motivating ourselves to be more better and better. When we get something from what have we learn from the hardship, then after that, we are actually feel alive.

What I actually understand from "be alive" quotes is that..as a human kind, who are born not only granted with a powerful brain but Allah has granted us with a mighty mind that differs us from any other living creatures. Ever since childhood, we have experience so many things or changes that happened around us. We kept questioning our self why does it happen? When does it started? How do we solve the problem? This curiosity has led to the remarkable discovery that makes people more appreciative of the meaning of their lives, as a wise man once said; “Every creature is better alive than dead, men and moose and pine trees, and he who understands it aright will rather preserve its life than destroy it” Henry David Thoreau.
