My library is going through a renovation and has not been weeded in many years. The Excell spreadsheets made it easier to sort through each section to identify books that needed to be weeded. As for getting rid of books. We put them on carts after weeding and let students and staff take them home. This has been a huge hit and we are left with very few books to dispose of.

Adding to the collection, we rely on SLJ and Booklist for reviews. We also have a student request box that helps us look at what is trending within our building.
