This is a book that has also been turned in to a lullaby. Currently is one of my daughters favorite songs to sing to. The genere is children Litichure; with all the different modes being used within one book. The book for the youngest is interactive because of the lights flashing and the sounds keeping her attention. 
For the 2 year old she is starting to recognize the lullaby within the book so making that connection of the song being played and the animals on that page is how she stays interactive with the modes. 

The book is very interactive, which makes it a good children's genre.
