1. After watching your video I learned why amateurism exists, which is to ensure one is a student athlete not just an athlete. As well as to level the playing field in the NCAA.

2. I really like the music and video clip you incorporated in your video but I thought the video clips was alittle to long.

3. Do you know if high schools go over the rules of the NCAA before a student participates in a highschool sport?

1. After viewing the video I learned that the NCAA Clearing house automatically checks to see if a high school athlete is eligible, I thought it was just what courses you needed to take. I dint realize it checked eligibility.

2. I liked all the animations and the video but i felt the background music was just a little loud compared to your voice.

3. Do you think coaches or the high schools athletic departments should be more responsible for keeping track of this?

1. After watching your video I learned that there is a requirement to take 4 years of a language in high school which I never knew was needed.

2. I really liked the use of the ESPN video clip to show a real life example of some of the current problems with NCAA eligibility.

3. In your opinion do you think players should be allowed to profit from signing autographs if fans are willing to pay them?

1. After watching your video, I learned that NCAA isn't as strict when it comes down to course necessity. It is just setup for the common-core classes and doesn't fully improve the students well being.

2. What I liked was, along with other students that have seen your video, was the video clip. It was a interesting on the integrity of athletes after they become college or professional athletes.

3. In your own opinion, should the common-core that is being aloud by NCAA rules be improved. Meaning that the students athletes should take more electives/classes or should it be decreased?

1. After watching your video I learned more about the NCAA, things I didn't know prior to watching your video. I learned about amateurism and the point behind it. The ESPN taught me that athletes that make great deals of money do immature things and doing things that shouldn't be done when playing for these programs.

2. I think the music behind your voice made for a tremendous presentation. The video in the middle of your video separates the prevention well. I thought it was a great addition and very creative.

3. Do you think that coaches should administer these rules even more than they already do? Do you feel that players in D1 sports should be able to make a profit from autographs?

1. Chris, this was a great topic to talk about, because new regulations should be enforced. Like it said in the ESPN video, "This stuff happens everyday". I was able to learn about what the NCAA defines eligibility.

2. I thought your video was really creative with the music and your animations. I also thought it was cool how your voice kind of rhymed with the music.

3. As we all saw on the new with James Winston who is the QB for Florida State stealing seafood and only sitting out for a game for half. This seems like a kiddish punishment for the NCAA to enforce and plus with all his sexual charges and still allowing him to play. Don't you think the NCAA should step their game up on harsher punishments for these athletes?

I think that it should be the overall responsibility of the school's athletic department to enforce such teachings. I also believe that the coaches should step in and take a bulk of the everyday responsibility, making sure players sign up for what they need and are fully prepared for the NCAA and what it requires for playing

I think that the punishment should be harsher for some of these athletes, but at the same time everything comes down to a case by case basis. As much as the NCAA wants to crack down on events like this it's hard to do so within college. Sometimes suspensions can be too harsh, and since there is no income you can't just fine a player. It will forever be a grey area within college sports

I think that the coaches should do more than they already do. Every extra step a coach takes to make sure that players are well prepared for what the NCAA ask for, the more problems and infractions we can avoid down the road. I still don't believe that college athletes should be paid for signatures. Payment for playing is another issue, but for the actual payment of autographs I still think they should be free.

I think that the higher standard for grades in these classes should be raised. The NCAA puts a large emphasis on keeping school first, so why don't we show that by requiring a higher GPA. The classes they want you to take are a solid base for what you need in school, so I do not feel like that needs to be changed

I think that they shouldn't be allowed to take money for their autographs no matter who they are offered from. You have to keep a level of amateruism within NCAA athletics, and although I feel that athletes should be paid for play and use of the image, I do not feel that autographs fall into either one of those categories.

I was not told about NCAA school requirments until the end of my junior year when the recruiting process really heated up. I think they should start early so that kids can really focus on the grades that will get them into the schools they want to play for.
