Sometimes, a record label is also a publishing company that manages such brands and trademarks, coordinates the production, manufacture, distribution, marketing, promotion, and enforcement of copyright for sound recordings and music videos. 
It maintains contracts with recording artists and their managers.
Their logo will appear on the artist they are representing's albums, posters and websites, etc. 
They represent the artist and can promote their work to a wide ranged audience. 
The record label will require the funds that an artist can use for their music video, in order to make it a huge success.

Sony is a very large conglomerate company, who have a large budget to spend production, distribution, and marketing of music videos and artists. It is also significant that music videos produced by conglomerate companies are solely performance based, this is due to the certain artist is trying to portray a certain persona or star image. 
An example of a Music video made by Sony Music, is Work from home by Fifth Harmony. There is clearly lots of money that have been invested in this video, alongside choreography and individual outfits.
The girls are being represented as sexy and independent.

Interscope Records is a conglomerate company, therefore, the music videos that they produce will attract a wide audience. The genre mostly being pop and performance-based videos.

Intercom is headquartered in Santa Monica, California. The label's best selling artists include Madonna, Eminem, and U2. Recent artists who have signed to Interscope include Selena Gomez, Years & Years and Aluna George. Interscope, like Sony, is a conglomerate company who support artists and bands who are high in the charts. When creating my record label, I will have to consider the type of target audience who will be interested in my style and theme.

However, smaller and more independent companies such as Warp Records produce videos with a much smaller budget, which are mostly narrative-based videos based on social realism subjects, with a niche target audience.
