During high school, I worked for a restaurant called the Green Onion and was a hostess for 5 years. I met some really great people which have helped me along my way today. After the restaurant sadly shut down, I went to another restaurant called The Brook and have been there for eight years! I started off as a server and after three years of serving I was promoted to a manager and have been doing that for the last five years. I believe that everyone should at least work in the restaurant industry at least once in their lives just to know the lifestyle and experience what these people go thru. Most people believe that they're people with no ambition or goal but most are actually in school pursuing their goals just like everyone else and not just incompetent people (we hear that a lot).
