It does not intimidate. PAGER seems like the framework for a great classroom, now I just need the actual hands on help in the classroom to implement the cool things we have been SHOWN over the last 2-3 years. I'd get in trouble as a teacher for just showing kids "knowledge" but not providing them the time, the resources, and the help to internalize that knowledge. I think using the PAGER system is a great way to go. I have been at another school that integrated technology and many of the teachers were very upset and apprehensive about it. But they were never shown the best way to prepare to integrate. They were thrown in head first and had to figure it out themselves. I usually start my lesson with guiding direction and samples. The students then brainstorm, create and work independently.
