This is my way to give back to the community and to everyone, making a family away from home where we can connect and establish life long friendships."

"I'm a 2nd generation Filipina American, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and raised as a Navy kid in Virginia Beach, Virginia (USA). As both an undergraduate and graduate student, I attended Old Dominion University (Class of 2004 & 2016) and became an elementary school teacher (B.S. in Elem Ed), and later gained an endorsement as a school librarian. I also attended University of Phoenix (Class of 2007) and obtained a Master's degree in Education. Due to our many moves with the military, I've been teaching and volunteering periodically since 2008.

This is our family's second time back in the KMC area; we were stationed here 20 years ago. We've returned as a military (recently retired) and contractor family. I currently volunteer among several organizations: (1) USO Overseas Virtual Book Club as Lead Volunteer (2023-Present), (2) KMC FAA as Secretary, Social Media Manager, & Graphic Designer (2024-Present), and (3) ODU Filipino American Alumni Chapter as Communications Chair (2025-Present).

I choose to be involved with our Fil-Am communities because I want to be a part of preserving our culture, heritage, and history. It's important to me that no matter where we are across the diaspora, we feel a sense of belonging and have opportunities to learn from and connect with each other. I hope to encourage and empower others to engage, contribute, and advocate for Filipino Americans in order to uplift our communities and create positive change."

I was born in Manila and raised in Capiz, Philippines. Migrated to the US in 2016 and been in the service for 7 years now. Currently, I am the Endodontics NCOIC and Additional Unit Training Manager at 86th Dental Squadron, Ramstein AB, Germany. Aside from these jobs, I am also the Unit Fitness Program Manager, 4Y0X1's Functional Manager, and Foundations 300 class instructor. I have 2 Bachelor's degree and currently working on my Masters. I speak English, Tagalog, and Hiligaynon fluently and a little bit of Bisaya, Korean, and German. I am a LEAP Scholar since 2022. I was the event coordinator for Osan Fil-Am Association and secretary in Minot AAPI Organization when I was stationed there."
