I think that by involving the community as a whole you can create a much bigger impact than by sticking only to the “greens”. It is a matter of doing things smarter and greener with longer perspective into the economy as well. Although the government have fully supported, it is not decided by politicians what will happen, it is a much more honest picture of how the world works. As people get involved in it, I think it creates a bigger audience, which then attracts more people, hence why it works so well and keeps growing.

I think that implementing circular economy in London would benefit the city greatly. Starting with cleaning the air and making London a smarter and cleaner city. London aims to be the cleanest city in the world by 2050, and I think that by implementing circular economy they would be able to achieve it.

London is an overpopulated metropolitan city that just keeps growing. This means that if not targeted soon enough, the environment would not be able to be cleaned up. By using the subscription of circular economy they would be able to upscale and reuse bricks for their new developments, they could encourage more usage of bikes, that create less CO2, resulting in decarbonisation and cleaner air, and simply looking at the long term vision of how to make London a cleaner and smarter environment for its people. This could be a head start to what will eventually have to happen.

If Denmark can do it, why can’t we?
