The single orbit results in a near and far side of the moon. We only eer see the near side from earth.<br>4. There is NO atmosphere on the moon<br>5. The lunar surface has not changed much historically. The moon has no wind weather and very little water<br>6. Craters are the result of meteoroid impacts.<br>7. During the moon's orbit around the earth, we see different amounts of light being cast on the moon.<br>2. if we take earth out of the equation and only look at the sun's light shining on the moon at each position around the Earth, upi will see that the moon at eachposition around the moon always recieves 50% of the sun's light.<br>3. From here on EArth, we say that we are seeing the "Phases of the Moon"<br>4.
