When in Italian we refer to the word "Confetti" we mean the little sweet we use to give to our celebrations as weddings. They can be white, sky blue, pink it depends on the occasion we are celebrating. When the English people refer to the word Confetti they refer to the little piece of papers that they threw during celebrations like a wedding. In Italian the same piece of coloured papers are called Coriandoli. This word doesn't exist in English.
