         <title>For the 2008 elections, I was not a US citizen. I wanted to vote for Obama. So I became a citizen in September 2011 and was able to vote. Obama was the first president I actually voted for. </title>

She also thought it would help to keep her off of the Jury Duty list.  We are no longer friends.  You have very few responsibilities in life and voting is one that I do not think is optional.  </div>]]></description>

         <title>I can recall how the scholars use to react to learning about the poll tax and literacy tests, especially the Louisiana Literacy Test. I use to make them take the literacy test as a part of a lesson on voting rights, and their reactions were so authentic and empathetic! </title>
