Hi, my name is Davel, today I'm going to talk about celebrating the New Year on the coast of Peru.

New Year's Eve at the beach is an unforgettable experience. People on the coast of Peru often celebrate with a big bonfire and fireworks. Everyone wants to have a great time, people always carry delicious food like roast meat, grilled seafood, pork rind, and tropical fruits. They are always in their summer clothes, enjoying the warm weather. The beach is usually decorated with lanterns and lights, creating a festive atmosphere. They arrive at the beach early in the evening to set everything up. At midnight, they cheer and make their New Year's resolutions, excited for the new year.

One of my favorite holidays to celebrate is the Fiestas Patrias of Peru. In the morning, we usually watch the grand parade on television, featuring military displays, traditional dances, and colorful floats. This takes place on July 28th.

Then, in the afternoon, we typically prepare a big family lunch with traditional Peruvian dishes, we share stories and enjoying the food.

Finally, in the evening, we always join the local festivities with fireworks, live music, and dancing in the streets. It's a lot of fun to see everyone celebrating and feeling proud of our culture.
