I was born and raised in Tai po, Hong Kong, until I moved to North America to study abroad. It is a small residential area located in Northern East part of New Territories, mostly locals live here. This was taken when I am grade 11( Form 5 in Hong Kong secondary school, it was my last year. We were recording video of all singing together because this was an contest event, I was standing in the back. This is where my journey begins, knowing that I am going to explore the world more

MY FAV PLACE IN HK

My favorite place in Hong Kong is Cheung Chau island, it is surrounded by the sea. We go in by taking an hour of boat trip, and we would stay overnight for trips. It is famous for its waterfront, boat trips and seafood. Cheung Po Tsai's story is known by many people, and the cave is here on the island too. There are lots of activities around the year. The annual Cheung Chau Jiao Festival, also known as the Cheung Chau Bun Festival, is also very famous.

Leaving home and my study abroad experience in Seattle

I was 17 years old when I first move to North America to study abroad. When I first arrived, I was in living in Kent, southern part of Seattle and I was living with host family and sharing with my roommates from other countries at that time.

TRAVELLING TO LOS ANGELES

I went to Los Angeles in California to visit my family there.

In this photo, I am celebrating my birthday with my grandparents and my aunt and my uncle is holding the camera. They moved to US before I was born, so I didn't have a lot of chance to see them since I was raised in Hong Kong, unless they come/ I go visit. These are the moments I cherish a lot. Growing up not by family's side isn't always easy and I tried to focus 100% when I am with them.

MOVING TO TORONTO

I graduated and transferred my credits to came to York University, during the pandemic for further education. It shocked me for the amount of snow when I came, that I took a picture of it. I have never seen such snow in my lifetime before.

Trip to Korea

I went to Seoul, Korea, with both my parents and it is in Northern part of South Korea. I liked kpop a lot when I was growing up, there are many beautiful places to walk around. And we had many Korean food like barbecue, and Kimchi.

Trip to Macau

I went to Macau with my family, this was taken by my dad, we went to this water park in Macau. We stayed for a night at Galaxy Macau, enjoyed great food and it was fun experience. I liked their egg tart and pork bun so much they were really authentic.

Visiting Osaka

I went to Osaka in Japan with my parents, we were in japan for five days and went to universal studios. During those days I enjoyed good food and hot spring. Since it has been a long time since I have travel with my parents I feel very grateful and wish to always see them.
