I received a Macbook from my parents and I'm looking forward to using it when I enter the MYP program. 

Today was also my Aunt’s 18th birthday. There was a lot of praying that happened there. Many people came, including people from the Hun family. 

I stayed at my Aunt’s house to play with my cousin and my uncle and aunties in secondary school. (Kodom Koeut. (Grade 8), Reachny Koeut. (Student from NISC, Grade 7,) and Reach Koeut. (Grade 11.)) It was an amazing day and I had lots of fun.

 I also went grocery shopping with my mom at Bayon Market. 

After I came back, I read a book called Walden and “CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE. I took a break and rested for about 30 minutes. 

After that 30  minutes, I played badminton with my brother Buddhisak. All i can say, today was a great day and I am ready for the next 30 days of The Slice of Life!

Hello, this is day one of Slice Of Life challenge in G5EV! Today I went to basketball training with my friends Jianming , Abigail , Andrew and my sister Mey Mey. I also train with 2 paragon boys. It was normal training and having fun until…..  The match it was a 3 vs 5 me Jianming and one of the other paragon boys against my coach , Mey Mey , Abigail , Andrew and the other paragon boy and as soon as we started it got pretty heated with my scoring a 3-pointer and my coach said it only counted as 1 point which was super confusing then i scored a simple lay up making it 2-0 then the other team was started to play rough and dirty they even hugged me and my coach called no foul making me very frustrated and it was first to 3 they started making a comeback with their cheating and they eventually won with the unfairness. After basketball I usually have khmer but today i didnt because my teacher went to a wedding giving me time to rest until Castor volleyball at 2 something I left to Castor and on the way I went to get some boba with my driver which energized me when I arrived I was greeted by my friend Monint we also had one more person coming which was Yijun! We waited until he finally arrived so we went inside and because. We had lots of time to spare because we had it at 3-5 and it was like 2:30. So we decided just to run and play tag which was a bad idea because we had MASTER CLASS the hardest and most tiring class so when it was time to go and train we were in odd seeing so many people in the place were we trained so we asked one of the coaches and he told us there was a tournament today I even saw lots of ISPP students like Dalia so it was very tiring if the drills and after all the suffering we finally played a match i was in a very good team with Yijun but sadly we were separated from Monint but in the match it was very smooth we were winning by a huge margin so almost everyone served so it was my turn and I usually never get it above the net but then i remembered a anime called Haikyuu! And it's a very fun volleyball anime so I saw how they served and I copied it and a one in a million chance happened to me. I actually scored an ace! ( an ace is getting a point from a serve ) everyone was shocked and me and Yijun was celebrating happily then I served again and I managed to ace again. So after the game we went to go eat at this place called 14th burger we ordered food and while waiting we decided to watch try not to laugh videos on Yijun phone it was super duper fun after eating we said our goodbyes and went home I ate dinner then my mom came back home and she wanted to eat some steav food ( steav food is a Khmer slang used by young people meaning junk food ) so we went to a convenient store called emart  and we ate a lot of delicious food so when I came back I almost had no time to use my device and just went to sleep.

For my holiday I went fishing with my grandparents at Kep and I caught 55 fish all in totall. This was a very fun trip because I loved fishing but it wasn't so good for my dad becasue my dad has boat sickness.But for some reason this time he actullly enjoyed it and did not get boat sickness.

Vietnam for a football tournament. I hope I will win this tournament because its something I have been looking forward to. The last time we went to a tournament we sadly lost but we got second, this time we I can feel it. I have friends coming with me like, Yijun and yota.

A week ago my brother and I were at the pool, then my brother asked me to race him

so I accepted. First we race normally but I lost so I asked for a rematch but the second time I got out of the water and ran as fast as possible then I jumped back in the water and pretended I finished.

On March 1st I woke up in the morning, then after I woke up and went to badminton training for two hours after playing against my coaches, students I later had to go for volleyball training. After 4 gruelling hours of playing sports I finally get to rest, then after 2 hours of rest I go to my music class and learn a new song. After all of that i get to play games with friends for around an hour. I eat, call friends for a bit then take a shower and brush my teeth and go to sleep. That is pretty much all I did that day.

Hi Grace, I am at school right now, I feel productive and energized for the week

And I know that I will be very successful for my whole life. If you were wondering 

What I was doing on Sunday, which is yesterday, I woke up at 8:30 to start the day, I listened to a podcast about improving yourself while doing my oral hygiene and I also washed my face. Then I wore a set of Adidas clothes. Then I protected my skin with UV protected sunscreen. My mom came back from her appointment and prepare breakfast for me and my dad. Then I prepare for dance class with my friends and danced for 1 hour straight. After that, I went to Chipmong 271 with the same friend and danced even more, I was born a very productive girl, then I went ate dinner at a restaurant at Bean and co. I ate stir-fried noodles and a side of fish balls. I came back home and guess what, I danced even more! I did my shower routine and then I read a chapter of dork diaries, then "Click." I fell a sleep.

Hi my name is Vivi and this is my first slice of life. I am going to write about my 10th birthday. The night before, my mom had planned a surprise party for me with some of my friends in America. It was at a sushi restaurant called Karma. One of my friends brought me a stuffy that  me and my friends collectively named “Princess Pippy The 3rd (or Pip for short), I got pink cow strawberry scented squishmellow slime, berry bliss Touchland, and a TON of cards. The next day when I woke up, it was my actual birthday, (July 9th)!  Overnight, a bunch of decorations were put up, including photos of my friends around the world saying happy birthday to me! Example: A girl holding a paper that says “Happy birthday from Africa!” or stuff like “Happy birthday from Ukraine!” etc. After that, I went to summer camp. After summer camp, my family picked me up and we drove straight to my cousin's house for the rest of the day, where my Uncle made one of my favorite dishes for dinner. Then, it was time for presents! They gave me a locket necklace, on the front it said “To the moon and back” and on the inside there was a photo of me with my cousins, and one with my immediate family! It was so much fun, and I am looking forward to more slices of life!

At my house I was having a drawing contest with my friend. My friend lost most of them. After that I went swimming for 1 hour and a half. so that was my day.

On March 1 I got 96 place local with the hardest player to master I was surprised because it was really hard and my goal was to get on the local leader board with a different place and I told my friends thats my new goal and played the game with them. I went swimming at my grandmas house with my cousin and siblings and it was very fun

My trip to the UK was amazing, no not even amazing. It was unforgettable. 

I was going to go to my favorite teacher's home land.

 When I first arrived, there was a problem with the Border Police in London Heathrow. 

Since my parents decided to do an online VISA instead, it got confusing. Since we were in London and my Mom or Dad didn’t come to London with me, they forgot to sign a paper saying I could go with my grandma. 

My grandma called my mom instantly and we had to wait for her to answer the call. We hoped she would answer or else we would either get sent back to Cambodia or stay in the airport until she would answer. After a few minutes, she answered the phone and we were relieved. We explained the situation to her and she talked to the Border Police at the airport. I was sweating nervously.

After we left London Heathrow, we went to my uncle's apartment. He was in London because he chose to study in a college there.

 The people who came with me were my brother, my grandma, my grandpa, and my aunt. Right after we arrived at the apartment, we took a 30 minute break before going shopping. We went to many luxurious brands to buy something for my mom and my sister. After hours of shopping, we went back to the apartment.

I took a quick nap because I was exhausted from the ride to the UK. 

At around 8:00PM, My uncle booked us a fancy restaurant. I was still asleep because I had this term called Jetlag. It’s when you move to another time zone and your mind is still stuck in that time zone. So for example, it’s 9:00PM in Cambodia and it is 5:00PM in the UK. My mind is still stuck in Cambodia’s time zone. 

On to the second day, we really did nothing. All we did was stay at home and eat food, but I still had a good time playing a game called bean boozled with my aunt, Reachny Kouet. On the third day, we went to see the Royal guards and Big Ben. Unlike Cambodia, we could just walk outside instead of taking a car. A taxi car in London is expensive anyway so it was best to walk. The cold breeze was nice as I went during our winter break this year. 

A few days later, we took a train to Edinburgh. The train ride was nice but all I did on that ride was sleep. 

After we arrived in Edinburgh, it felt like we were in Harry Potter. No matter where you are, you will always get an amazing view.

We walked to our hotel and like I said, the view was amazing. After a few minutes of walking, we got to our hotel. The hotel was very nice. They had amazing food and comfy beds. 

During the Last day of my visit to the UK, I said goodbye to my relatives living in London and rode a car to London Heathrow.

It was a random Monday night when the little Leaksmi was smashing blocks. She stood up and began to say random baby noises (as usual.) then held my hand. I had a feeling to let her walk whilst I held her hand and as so, we began walking together. Her stubby little legs shifted while she tried to get used to the motion of walking. We walked for a few laps around the house but her stubby little legs couldn’t keep up with me. I could tell she was exhausted. She gave up and sat on the floor.

 I called my mother (who was in Siem Reap) and when my sister saw my mother’s face, she began crying. My mom just laughed it off and so did I. After taking a break, we began walking again. She now understanded the motion of walking and so, I let go of her hand. It was a miracle. She began walking by herself for the first time. She walked from her room, all the way to my room. This sight was amazing to see from the little Leaksmi.

I got to school and looked around. There were no familiar faces anywhere. I put my bag down under a tree. Suddenly a girl with light brow hair came rushing up to me.

“Hey, are you the new girl from bassac garden?” she asked.

“No...?” I replied. 

“Never mind then.” she said and walked away giving me a thumbs up. 

The bell rang and I walked confused to my new classroom. I sat next to a girl with straight black hair and as she said she was also new I realised this year may  not be as crazy as i thought it would be.

I jumped in and felt the squishy foam of the foam cubes surround me. I struggled like a drowning person as I sunk deeper and deeper into the mass of foam and other stuff. I hit the bottom of the pit thinking that this is where I would die, then I jumped up like spider man, bounced of the blocks, and climbed out of the pit.

March 2 I had a good and peaceful day I fed my salamander food and I went to school the school day was long but awesome I had lots of fun when we did the PYP EX. When I got home I took a shower and brushed my teeth and changed and then my teacher arrived at my house so me and sister learnt Chinese after Chinese I went down to play with my little brother he was about 4 months he was joyful but loud cause he was crying then I took a break a watch TV and then I had to learn again after I finished I had dinner and red a book after then I went to bed brushed my teeth and got into bed and slept.

Today I learned some new chinese words with my teacher and classmates but chean khun and his brother were in my class and kept fighting. When it was break time we played a game imposter who the rules are that their is one imposter that does not know what they are talking about.If you are not the imposter you will get a word and try to describe the word but not make it to obvious. When I was the imposter I knew the word because khun made it so obvious. It was a fun time that time then we had to go study :-:

Hi Grace, I am at school, again, I just ate some sugar coated rice crackers while working in ISPP TV. I worked on decorating the background of Pirates of the Mekong, speaking of Pirates of the Mekong, it's the up coming musical that I will be part of. My role is leading the 5th grade. It's very silly because I am a grade 5 student, leading a 5th grade. My name in the musical Captain Ironheart, the personality trait is confident, not afraid of anything that comes in her/his way.(Spoiler alert, part of my traits I introduced was part of my lines or speaking part.) Anyway, as a weekday, I wanted to share a funny memory of when I was 6-7 years old. I was in Arlington, a county near Washington D.C. I just learned to ride my bike a few weeks ago under an unpopular highway bridge. I was under the same bridge riding my bike. In the county there are a lot of dog owners, so unsurprisingly, I saw a 50-60 year old-ish man walking a very energetic grey dog. As I rode my bike down the bridge the dog started dashing towards me. But it was on a leash so it couldn't reach me, but instead it started levitating in the air, as it still attempted to get to me while running in the air. It was as if the dog could fly (it was not jumping). I was so distracted by the dog that I almost crashed into the curb. The end.

After she left we planned to go to Sunshine Snow world but when we arrived there it was closed so we went to fly instead (read march one)  

Today I played a game with Mr Ben and the class the game was called 20 question and we had 20 question to guess what Mr Ben was thinking and in the end he was thinking of Albert Einstein. In pe we played a game called yoshi and capture the flag we were had a truce but got betrayed in the end.

So in our first game against Aispp and beated them 11-0. It was one of our most best and fun match because our team manage to score 11 goals even though we were all tired because we had just came from a field trip a day ago.

Shiba inu, a Japanese dog. His fur is light brown and his name is Foggy.

He loves belly rubs and watches TV with me.

When I first got him he would pee and poop all over the floor but now he is more trained. Ones we when to go swimming in the ocean and he jumped in the water while the boat was going. This was surprising because he HATES to swim.

We were on a car trip and we got bored so me and my brother decided to do an arm wrestle. At first I was struggling but then I thought about something that made me mad and put all my anger on my brother's hand and I slammed his arm onto the arm rest. My brother was shocked and I was super proud.

It was 2024 and I went to Paris for a trip. That trip was of course amazing but I liked my trip to London more. 

My mom asked me if I wanted to go out so I agreed to go out. My brother didn’t and he would soon regret that decision.

 Me, my mom, and my dad went to a restaurant and we of course ate food. 

After eating, we bought some gifts for my relatives at Hermès. I told my parents that I was going to check the next floor at the shop and they agreed. 

I went up the stairs and walked down a hall with luxurious items beside me. I took a turn and there I saw the Norwegian machine, Erling Haaland. My face lit up and I rushed to him. Luckily, I had my phone with me and I got a picture with him. It was one of the best moments of my life and I couldn’t believe it! I met the one and only Erling Haaland. I was young at that time and I strangely asked him if he could wait whilst I went to call my parents. I rushed down the stairs and ran to my parents. I told them Erling Haaland was upstairs and my mom didn’t know who that was but my dad did. I showed him the picture of me and Haaland and my dad ran with me to meet him. 

A success I have achieved was making it to F171 in Kumon. This is a success for me because Ive been in that school for 3years ago and from the time I joined Kumon my goal was to get to F.

Yesterday I did my PYP EX and I found a new topic just changed it to be more specific right now I'm doing about Stopping animals from being used in the circus I found out people will use the animals to there advantages to get money for themselves and I finished my fantasy story took long but it was fun!|

That is most of Archie's favourit things to do but he also loves to play with his toys witch are his llama, monkey, toy bone, (that is edible) and anything that belongs to someone else. I will do the musical that I was explaining yesterday. But to be fair, I am not excited and nervous. I know you are asking how to not feel nervous before a show like this, right, so let tell you some tips that really improve your confidence before the big stage.

1. Have some experience first.

   What I mean by this is that if you get more used to the feeling of joining these types of activities, it will make you used to the feeling of joining big events.

2. Practice with intetion.

   What I mean by this is making sure you know what you are doing knowing on how to improve on the mistakes, m if you make a mistake, you can use that feed back for fuel ti become better the next time you do it again, trust me, it really works.

Today is the first of the three days(Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) of Pirates of the Mekong! Although it's still in a few hours I am excited, but I really need to work on the song lyrics. I don't really know what to write other than to mention that this is my first time acting in a play. I guess that's it for today.

today I had languages and put on clothes for the upcoming Khmer new year as I was told. after that I played football with my friends and scored a penalty. then I learned a bit about my topic for PYPX which is cause of mental health or depression in 15 year old or younger. After their that I went to lunch and played force square and got a lot of people out cause I felt like it. ;-;

my roll is Captain Lazybones and I lead the grade ones and the crew is called sleepy seafairs .

My favorite book is A wish in the dark this is because in A wish in the dark they were alot of Adventeours. The best thing I like about A wish in the dark is that the Author who wrote the book actully got most of the idea from another book.

My favorite sport is football this is because in football I get to assist and score goals. One of the most amazing goals I have ever scored is probelly my half way goal.

Yesterday we did area and perimeter for maths it was challenging but fun and enjoyably and I went back to my fantasy to reread everything and checked if anything is wrong when I got home I drew a drawing that has pokemon and other drawings

and my mom also got my brother new clothes.

when I woke up I did my morning routine and went down to feed my pets then went to school as I was on the way I drew drawings and I'm siblings had to guess what I drew and for maths Rita said I probably got most of the credits but she was still helping and I did my PYP EX and wrote about my topic

So one time when I went to a friend's house and had a sleepover we were playing granny, the rules were the granny had to be blindfolded by something and had to get someone else. so I was right behind the granny and my friend threw something at the granny but for some reason she decided to jump and his my nose at it was bleeding for around 30 mins.

Last night's performance was, not bad. At first I was really nervous but it was fine. Now I am really excited for tonight's show because my dad is watching! I don't know what else to write because today was pretty uneventful, but you can watch it on YouTube.

The 2nd thing I am going to tell you is that in the morning, when I was trying to talk, my voice sounded like a saw while I was brushing my teeth.

The 3rd thing was that during rehearsals, when I had to sing how to greet a pirate, my voice was sleeping on the job as if my throat betrayed me very hard, and even so, my voice is getting in a improved condition. That's it for now CIAO.

March 4th, Thursday morning, 11:02 am

I love this animal because they are tiny and adorable, some of my favourite memories with squirrels are when we were visiting my dads old university ( Bowdoin with has the logo if you press the arrow for the next photo) We saw a squirrel there that kept starring at us until he ran straight toward us and then ran away because he was to scared to grab the food from us. Another funny memory I have is when in Sri Lanka we saw a squirrel at a nature park and when ever we pulled out food it would strike a pose to the camera to get a reward of food. We called that squirrel FRW standing for Fashion Runway Queen.

The waves pushed us back and forth which was fun. After swimming we got shaved ice with mickey mouse ears shaped ice. We had a snack party with candy and a pajama party. After that we went shopping in the central city of hawaii and it was super fun. Lastly we had a smoothie before boarding our plane on the same flight back to our country.

It was my ninth birthday party and me and my friends were hanging out in the pool. There was this HUGE pineapple floatie thing and everyone was having a hard time climbing on. My sister was almost up and I was climbing up behind her and she slipped and slid down on to my finger and my finger bent back and had her full weight on my finger!!! That is how I broke my finger.

Today I will write about my time in ISPP’s junior football team. 

It was late 2025 (not that late it was I think october or september) and I saw the form for ISPP’s football team. I of course signed up for it and went to this close football store near my house. They had everything I could possibly need. 

I bought socks, shin guards and these nice F50 boots. 

A few weeks later, our first training session had begun. We got to meet all the coaches and I already knew that my home room teacher was going to be one of the coaches.

Many other people only cared about the A team and B team but the coaches kept telling them that it isn’t really important. 

We played games with talented footballers in my grade and other grades and I'm pretty sure it was to determine which team we would get.

After many matches with everyone, we got up in 3 teams. Many people said that these teams were the official ABC teams but the coaches kept denying. The coaches didn’t tell us anything about those teams but all of us figured out that these were the actual teams.

In the next few weeks, we did football drills and of course played matches. In all matches, I played Striker and my friend, Nathan Peng played as the Goalie. Someone in our team said that Nathan was only a good goalie because he played volleyball.

There was this one time I remember when our goalie, Nathan Peng, gave me a perfect pass from our own box and I scored all because of Nathan’s fantastic pass. 

Fast forward to the next few weeks and the Tournament featuring other schools started. 

My team had a serious talk with our coach and we were energized. 

Our first match has started.

I played as striker, Samuel played as right wing, Aaron played as Left wing, Andrew and some other people I forgot played as midfielders, Jackson and Arnit played in defense, and finally, Nathan Peng played in goal.

Me and Samuel talked about how we would pass the ball to Aaron and I ran up to the box. We of course followed that plan and with that plan, I scored and made it 1-0.

We attacked them many times and we were now winning 5-0. In the last 3 minutes, Jackson cleared the ball and I got it. I was standing in the kickoff circle when I had the ball. There was this feeling where my mind told me to shoot and I of course did because we were already winning 5-0. 

I kicked the ball with all my might and the ball flew into the net. In my mind I was surprised, but in reality, I just shrugged it off. 

We won that game and we were playing against another school’s A team. 

That match was a close one as we scored and tied it 2-2 in the final minute. 

The match was now going to penalties.

We sadly lost that one match but we now had one final match left.

In the first half, Andrew scored 1 goal and Luke also scored a goal making it 2-0. 

In the next half, I was subbed.

With the help of our MIdfielders and wingers, I scored 2 goals ending the match 4-0.

Well that's too bad for me. I'm not sure so it's going to be short. I'm going to talk about some of my favourite roller costers I rode.

In Orlando, Florida so I rode The Mummy ride in Universal Studio, it was no too bad, I thought it was going to be worse.

The next one is the wooden roller coster ( I forgot the name), in Brisbane, Australia, it's in Movie World Gold Coast, it's the fastest roller coster I ever rode.

I favourite part of the day is the practice for pirate of the Mekong it was really enjoyable it was very nervous but only some people watch us my second favourite part of the day were drawing our fantasy story on a paper fun day!

so their was this one time when I went to Singapore and saw Rita at a cafe in universal studios. It was really awkward we just said hi and went to eat. after I ate I went on one of the biggest roller coaster in universal studio called cyclo and human and almost passed out

I hope everyone gets to make this memory very memorable wand unforgettful. This will

make me grow and learn from the mistakes through out the journey, weather you are a leading cast, an dancer or the sounds/lighting effects. I am very greatflu that I get to experience this, even though I have done this for a while. CIAO

Nothing is amazing!

It was early 2025 when my parents told me that we were going to Paris again. I couldn’t believe it. I already went last year and now I am going again. I remembered the time I met Haaland in Paris and I don’t think I was going to meet anyone famous this time. 

Fast forward 3 days later and I'm off to Paris. 

The flight was very nice as they served delicious food (probably the best part of my flight.)

A few hours later, I stepped foot in Paris for the second time. We booked the same hotel as my 2024 trip to Paris. We only went there because the manager of that hotel was Cambodian and we knew him well. 

In the next 3 days, we went shopping and all I did was eat food. Paris was alright but soon my parents told me that we were also going to Switzerland and Milan (Italy)! The only sad part. We were going there by car. I slept for a long time during the ride and when I woke up we finally arrived. The hotel was way nicer than the one in Paris. It was amazing.

The next day, we went to a mountain to snowboard! 

When I snowboarded for the first time, I felt like I was going to die so I switched to sledding all the way down the mountain instead. 

The ride on the snowboard was amazing and whilst I was doing my thing, my brother was skiing.

In 6 days, we were now in Italy. We didn’t do much in Italy but the only thing we did was visit Inter Milan and AC Milan's stadium. 

Later in the day, we watched one of their matches.

It was a long time ago when I was only 8 I think. It was when I just entered Grade 4 and I discovered these 2 bands that go by the name of The Smiths and Radiohead. 

I started listening to the songs “Heaven knows I’m Miserable Now” and “Exit Music (For a Film.) Those two songs sparked my interest for those 2 bands. 

I started listening to other albums made by them like Hateful of Hollow, The Queen is dead, Louder Than bombs, In rainbows, Kid A, Pablo Honey, and OK computer.
Songs from these albums were actually good. I listened to both bands for a long time and learned more about them like their band members and backstory.

WIth The Smiths, their band had a great relationship together and they soon fell apart. Johnny Mar and Morrissey hated each other a lot leading them to leave the band.

Fast forward a few months later, I am now in Grade 5. My teacher Mr. Matt (By far the best teacher,) is British and both bands were also British. 

On a random day, I asked Mr. Matt if he knew the band Radiohead and The Smiths and he knew them! He complimented my music taste and said it was the best but there are other people who I think have a better music taste than me.

All I can say, Radiohead and The Smiths are by far the best ever in music history. 

Today was pretty normal. 

I received Radiohead shirts and I am very happy about it. 

Later in the day, my cousin came over to my house. He brought his guitar so me and him could play together. I was playing the drums.

We of course played songs from The Smiths, Radiohead, Linkin Park, and The Cure. 

We played together for a pretty long time before we played Roblox together. We of course had a fun time playing with each other. Afterwards, we played drums and guitar together again.

This time, we played songs from Tool, Nirvana, and some other rock bands. 

After a few days in London, we decided to go to the famous theme park, Winter Wonderland. 

We rode a ride that spins and drops down at the same time and I felt like I was going to die in there. We rode that ride 2 times for some reason for the fun of it.

After that, we took a break and ate churros which were very good. 

After eating, we rode another famous ride called The Wild Maus XXL which was very fun. There were 3 steep drops.

On all the drops, the rest of my family on the ride were screaming whilst I covered my mouth with my jacket and had a straight face. 

The only bad part about that ride, after a steep drop, there were sharp turns that felt like I was going to fly out of my seat. 

That ride was extremely fun and we were now going to ride the last ride of the day at Winter Wonderland. It was one of those rides where you sit and the seats go up and you spin continuously for about 5 minutes.

On that ride, my glasses almost fell off and I was holding on to my glasses for dear life.

My time at Winter Wonderland was unforgettable and I will never forget about my moment with my family at that theme park.

I was just playing games and I didn't do much cause I didn't want to do anything so it was just really a boring day

I went to the safari and saw lots of animals my favourite part were the monkeys because they started screaming and making police noises to scare us away but I'm not gullible and at night I went to my cousins land we hanged out there with my other cousins to

In the morning I walked at 5:30 and came back home and had a shower and then fed my salamander and had break fast and went to school and I mailed my mentors and we also did arts

It might be extreme but let's break down the process. 1st we deep cleaned the teeth and basically prepped the teeth.

Next we 2-stepped numbed the gum.

We used a red paste that tasted like melted Haribo gummy bears. the 2nd step was to shoot the numbing serum inside the gum.

Then it was the SHOW TIME!!!!!!!!!!!

At first we used a small tweeser then the dentist said " We need to use the big tweesers!" It did not hurt that much then BOOM! My tooth came out.

Then I had to use this rolled up cotton cloth to stop the bleeding. After 3 minutes, it started to hurt like crazy, it felt like the gum was itchy and painful at the same time. By the time I arrived to Aeon 3.

I finally had the chance to take the cloth out, of course in the bathroom.

And I one more thing to tell you.

I will remove 2 pairs of teeth next Saturday!

The next day I woke up and my dad was talking with my aunt on the phone so I went over to talk with my aunt who then called over my cousins that attracted the attention of my uncle. mostly my aunt, and my cousins talked, then she asked "did you get our Christmas present?" I was confused. What Christmas present? She explained the christmas present that I never got, then my dad explained how some packages get lost in the mail. After our chat, my dad found an old box near the staircase. I opened it, and it was my christmas present! It had all the stuff she mentioned plus chocolate. It felt so weird opening a Christmas present in March. That was my slice of life today.

Today, I’m going to talk about the Khmer field trip I went on. The bus ride was 30 minutes long. Jianming and I laughed and talked the whole trip. When we got there, it was really hot. We put our things down, and we went to explore the place. I saw many Khmer statues. The place was very beautiful, and I also got to see some fish. After that, we went to eat food. The food was very yummy. I ate bong mean, which is egg. When we finished eating, we ate ice cream and more. After that, it was time to go back, and my friends and I were playing a game together. I don't know what it's called, but the game was really fun.

Today, I will be discussing the blood moon I observed earlier. When I was swimming, I saw the blood moon in the sky. At first, I was scared, but my mom told me it's nothing to worry about. It was really cool, I took many photos. I think the blood moon happens every 5 years, but I’m not really sure. After that, I went to play basketball with my brother. He beat me, but it was still really fun.

Fact:

I think that staff was mean to all of the kids because there was only me, my friend, and my mom only in the kids cafe. there was no one in the kid cafe.

it was kind of a sad day too, but me and my friend figured something out. That the mean staff was the only one being mean to everyone I felt annoyed to. I thought something which is this ---> (I hope that person will soon be fired). That date was the 7th of March. All of this is the Fact. C U bye.

Accept for the fact that the mom is kinda depressed and now we are trying to cheer it up.

Last weekend I had a double sleepover. It was awesome! I had one with Laraina and Vivi on Friday, and on Saturday, I had a sleepover with Apsara ( a friend from CIS).

On the weekend, we went to FLY and went to gymnastics, and just talked.

Can't wait to learn more about PYPx!

boredom is boring.

Boredom is the sound of rain against your window.

Boredom feels like being grounded.

Non boredom is what you feel when you are going to do something else because you are sick of saying boredom.

My trip to Scotland was during our winter break this year. After a few days in London, we rode a train to Scotland and as I said in my other slice, we walked to our hotel and it felt like a hike.

It was a 15 minute walk to our hotel and I think it was worth it. The food there was nice and the beds were very comfy. The only bad thing, the bathroom door was a glass where you could see through but they just made it blurry. There was also no lock on the bathroom door.

On the next day on my trip, we ate breakfast at the hotel and walked to Edinburgh castle. The walk was very nice as the air was cold making the walk feel good. On the way there, I managed to take beautiful pictures of Edinburgh castle from below. (The picture is my profile picture.)

We walked up a long set of stairs and we finally reached the top. We could either walk down and explore Edinburgh or go to the castle. We decided to go explore Edinburgh.

We walked down the city of Edinburgh and went inside a gift shop. There, my brother bought himself a kilt and a bagpipe. I bought items for my little sister.

After buying items from the gift shop, we saw the famous optical illusion museum. We went to buy tickets but the line there was very long so we decided to go somewhere else so the line there would get smaller.

After 30 minutes of waiting, we went in and bought tickets. 

In the museum, there was a lot of fun stuff to do. There was something called a "vortex tunnel and a mirror maze. The mirror maze was of course very fun to do as I repeatedly crashed into a wall while navigating my way out of the maze.

On the next floor, there was an illusion with a box and a hole. If you crawl under the box, you could place your head in the hole and it will look like there is a single head on the table.

this weekend I had a sleepover with my friend Chean Khun I had to do volleyball two times because he kept begging me to do it with him and we won the volleyball match.After that we just played games then in the morning he forced me to do basketball training with him and we also won the match with me carrying

I forget to bring my sport glass and I have basketball team and my friend we went to the gym 2 and I get my baseball shirt.

It was my cat's first time meeting my new friend. When he saw her he ran around the house. At least he got used to her.

so today we played handball in pe when I did jump ball with chamroeun I smashed the ball back down to my side but my teammates did not score.Before that I was helping vivi ref the game and told her how to ref and she just said tell me when the blow the whistle and talk to them and say why.

When I was 4 I loved taking paper and folding them up into a book. I would go to my dad and tell this story-

"Once upon a time, the end" every single day. It was definitely a waste of paper, but it was worth it every time.

So one time I went to the a country in the islands near America I ate ramen on the plane to their but my brother took mine while I was sleeping so I had order a another one. When I arrived to the country we booked a hotel and ate pizza at the buffet. After that we went to the swimming pool and swimed for like an one hour straight.

Today I will be talking about when I scored yesterday.

Yesterday I scored an amazing goal.

It went in the top bins, and that was how we took the lead. I was very happy after I scored because who wouldn't be?

I'm back after a few days, I forgot to do A LOT of days, like A LOT. So it means A LOT of things have happened. So first today my grandparents are coming back from Singapore, so they got a pair of NEW socks for me, I really needed it. It's been hard to remember to slice. I'm exited for my birthday,or is it too early? Well it's a month away on April 8, also April is the HOTTEST month. Well bye for now, hope I rememper to write.

Today was a pretty normal day as I got ready for school and went to school.

In the morning, we spent more time planning our provocations for PYPX. 

Recess however, was insane. Kevin, (The new student) scored a perfect hattrick! One goal with his left leg, one with his right, and one with his head.

Later on the day, we had math, performing arts then lunch. 

During lunch, we won a penalty and I was chosen to take the penalty. I thought I was going to miss the entire goal completely but I ended up scoring instead.

The afternoon was alright as we planned more about our provocation ideas for PYPX.

After school, I spent some time with my little sister and I also set up more stuff on my new Macbook.

Now, at the end of the day, which is right now, I am writing my Slice of Life at 9:10PM.

My topic is about Cambodian diaspora which is basically migration. I already know that they moved in the first place because of conflicts (Khmer rouge and the border conflicts that occurred from 2008-2011.) Most people who moved out of Cambodia during the 70s had started a whole new life there. The generation of Cambodian-Americans had rapidly grown to a number of 340 thousand people living in the US. 

However, the younger generation of Cambodian people struggle to say simple words and phrases. Cambodian people are slowly losing one of their own nationalities. Governments have been taking action by releasing videos on Facebook about this and teaching Cambodian-Americans about Cambodia. 

A problem about this: The younger generation of Cambodian-Americans simply does not use Facebook as they use apps like TikTok, Youtube, Reddit, etc.

Cambodian diaspora in America isn’t the only country with this problem as Australia, France, Germany, and The UK are also faced with this problem.

My grandmas moved out of Cambodia during the 70s to France and America. In France, my grandma found a whole new life there as she started a new family there. Their kids can actually speak Khmer fluently so that is good to hear. My other grandma who moved to America also had a new life there as she married an American person and had a child. Her child however, cannot say simple Khmer words as he struggles to even say simple words and phrases in Khmer.

I chose this topic because my family went through this and I want to spread the information on how people are slowly losing one of their own nationalities. 

The bass drum broke and now I am trying to fix it with my drivers. 

After a long break, I played with my friends online and called with my friend who left ISPP. (Harry.) 

It was really nice calling him after we parted ways 2 years ago. We talked to each other about what's recently been happening to us and some other stuff Harry was curious about.

I played with my sister (as usual) and checked up on my mom who is still in Japan. 

Today, she rode a train to Tokyo City and went to the famous Shibuya crossing.

I was invited to go to Nathan’s house so I agreed to go because what else was I gonna do today anyways?

Nathan wanted me to bring this chinese snack called ‘Latiao.’ It is very chewy, juicy, and packed with spices and herbs. The best thing, 20 packs of it only cost 2 dollars and in one pack, there are well over 7 pieces of it.

I made my way to Koh Pich and through a borey until I reached Nathan’s house.

When I arrived, Jianming ran to me while trying to snatch the Latiao in my hands.

We played some games in his room while waiting for the rest of the people coming to the playdate. 

When everyone arrived, we were gonna go to Coconut Park but we canceled that trip and decided to play hide and seek with everyone. It was of course fun as I hid with Luke on the top floor while everyone else was running around for dear life. I thought something was going to break but nothing happened. 

We took a short  break and we played the last round of hide and seek. This time, Nathan Pou was it. We all of course ran upstairs and we luckily sneaked past Nathan and went back downstairs. We heard the terror of screams coming from upstairs so I bolted to a hiding spot with Rayden. 

We hid in that hiding spot for minutes as the rest of the people were trying to find us. They eventually said that the round was over so we left our hiding spot and came into the end of the playdate.
Everyone went upstairs to get their devices and we had one final meal with everyone.

I didn't really do much just came to school and had a ordinary normal day just do what I do best

Today, my grandma gave birth to a baby girl. I visited my grandma and my little aunt with me, my brother, and my mom. We stayed there for a couple hours as we left the hospital at 11:00PM.

My cousin was also there so I also played with him. We ordered sushi from a random restaurant because none were open and what shocked me was the price of it. Just 12pc cost us over $80! I recorded us eating the food and what can I say. That sushi was extraordinary.

Over the past few days, I’ve been carefully researching my topic of Cambodian DIaspora. I’ve learned many things about diaspora communities and the choice and action of what they choose to do. Young Cambodians living outside of Cambodia can’t speak proper Khmer as they struggle to say simple words and phrases. 

I’ve done a lot of research about my topic and today is special! Today is my first mentor meeting with Ms. Theany!

So the first person who came to my house was Yuuki, and when everyone came, we played hide-and-seek and tag, which turned into a survival game. After eating, we went outside to play football and basketball, which was a lot of fun.

I did this on March 17.

If I got to choose a favorite sport I would probelely choose football becasue in football i get to play with my frends, score goals and have fun.

March 16th, Tuesday afternoon, 12:45.

So today in PE 5EV played basketball, and it was very fun because that time when we played I got to have fun by passing and cooperating a lot.

So yesterday, aka March 16, 5EV did a map test for English, and it was very noisy because we had to read out loud; 20 people were doing it at the same time, which is why it was so loud.

So this happened because an Uncle of mine who is in the school is 11 years old right now.

But at the time when that happened, he was 8, and he decided to jump off a double bunk bed, and I was there, and I saw that he did not get injured after he fell, so I decided to jump off, and that is how I broke my leg.

so yea, this is my typing score, and it took me a pretty long time to get to 66 WPS, and now I am aiming for 67 WPS.

So my favorite game is Roblox because you can play many games like Steal a Brainrot Rivals, and more. I normally play rivals, and I found a new game called Knife Arena.

I am back after 8 DAYS, it's been a busy week and I AM SO TIRED! Well I started to scare my friend Grace everyday until her birthday, or I might continue, I don't know what future me will pick. Well I have scared Grace and it's been going well. I can't wait for the weekends, I'm just going to stay on the couch and take a long break. I sprained my ankle this week, it's just a family thing. Today was a pretty normal day as I went to school (as usual) but I was a bit late as I arrived at 7:25AM and that is when the bell rings. 

I rushed to my classroom and we were now reflecting on our fourth week of PYPX. Today, we did PYPX only and the only thing else we did was Swimming and Performing Arts. I would say that the progress that we’ve all made is extraordinary and I think we are ready for everything else!

Today, I received 3 new LEGO sets. The steamboat willie set, The F1 Ferrari car, and The F1 Redbull car. 

I have already started building the steamboat wlilie set and I am finished with the first bag in 2 hours. I have 2 bags left until I am done with this set.

So yea when the game started it was pretty intense but after 15m none of us scored a goal so it ended as a tie.

So one of the best things about the changing rooms were that they were cleaner than the other ones and also that you had more space to change.

So last week i played rivals with my uncle(Luke) and i beated him with my favorite weapon called the knife.

I finally remembered to write. Well I don't have a lot to say, but I'm really happy since it's FriYAY (Friday). I don't really have anything planned for the weekends, I do still have my sprained ankle.

BTW: Thomas was sleepwalking to my car and opened the door, it was real weird.

Yesterday was Battle of The Bands and it was amazing! There were five bands competing for the title as the year's ‘best band.’ The winner would go to an interschool competition, competing against a band from CIA and CIS. 

For the first round of Battle of The Bands, each band had to play 2 songs. The first band that got to play had a good song choice but they sadly lost. The next band called ‘Side Project’ played a song from the past and it was a really old song. What I could say, almost all bands chose love and old songs for the whole thing but not Yolo. Yolo decided to go through the whole competition playing rock songs.

They easily cleared the first round by playing ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ and ‘Livin On a Prayer.’ The second round though. It was unfortunate. The drummer for Yolo was too lazy to learn ‘Begging’ on the drums so the singer had to improvise it.

Yolo was eliminated but only lost by one point. 

The last two bands, SDNM and Side Project were now face to face to win the title as ‘Best Band of 2026.’

After minuets of battling, the winner was now chosen.

It was Side Project. 

This band wil now go against a band from CIA and CIS. 

But, the band of CIA. 

My cousin is the guitarist for that band.

Hi,there don't have good things but the things that are good is I know that i was in Ms Grace room for the project.

The time when a turtle almost bit my finger off! When I was 7 years old I went to an aquarium in China (because I lived in China back then). There was this station where you could feed the sea turtles. So I gave the sea turtle some food. But I didn't realize how close my finger was to the sea turtle so it was about to bite my finger off until my dad yanked me away. Me not realizing what happened I asked my dad why he yanked me away from the sea turtle. After that he explained what happened and that night I had nightmares of the sea turtle actually biting my finger off.

I'm back, and it's almost the end of slicing. Well anyways, remember when I told you guys I kept scaring Grace, It's not going so well. Sometimes I do scare her quite well, but now, she has her guard on, so good luck to me. My other goal is to scare my other friend which is Sunny, whenever I scare her she is never scared. Scaring Sunny is tough. Normally I do a pretty good job of scaring people.

Today I played lots of basketball because I really want to practice for the CIA game and basketball is my favourite sport but yea I can't wait for the match and I hope I do well. After school today I had chinese class as normal then going back home! Today I went to school and I tried playing basketball for the first time. (I am very bad though.)

Back in class, we made posters on Canva for PYPX. Everyone is spending a lot of time doing it and we are still doing it right now. 

Every fifth grade student put a lot of effort into PYPX and I bet it will be worth it.

I am back, and today is going really boring, LIKE really boring. The weekend is coming up soon, I can't WAIT! The thing is that when it is the weekend, it's boring TOO! I don't really know how to fix this problem. Well writing this is getting boring, so I'm going to talk about some of my favourite TV shows. My ultimate favourite TV show is The Flash, I just finished the whole series like 2 weeks ago, but I'm rewatching it. My other favourite TV show is Young Sheldon, it's funny and one of my favourite episodes was when Sheldon was scared of germs and decided and to make germ proof mini house in his garage. He also ran around the table that he has his trains on, and his mom had to chase him. Then meemaw just had cookies and milk and the Sheldon decided to comeout.

Well yesterday, I played UNO party ( more fun then normal UNO ) with some of my best friends, and whenever I screamed ( since I got really GOOD cards) I LOOSE! In UNO party their is a card that makes you chained together, it's bassicly means if someone 2+ to your partner or anything else you also get 2 cards. I got chained with Grace and I LOST!

Over the past few days, I have been planning a provocation piece for PYPX. 

After many decisions, my provocation is a video about Cambodian diaspora. 

In that video, I will interview one of my relatives living outside of Camboda about how they feel on living in another country, what makes them stay in another country, and how they connect to Cambodia.

Like I said in my other slice, I decided on a provocation piece which is a video. 

I messaged my relatives whom live in France and America and they didn’t respond yet. 

Hopefully, they will respond soon and then I can finish my provocation piece for PYPX.

Hopefully I will have an idea for the last 2 Slices of this challenge.

I just finished re-reading March 18th comments and so Im gonna talk about M&Ms. The first time I had a peanut M&M was when I was 9! The first time I had a regular M&M was when I was 5! The last time I had an M&M was when I cant remember, and the last time I was called an M&M was in 4th grade.

well kind of a big news so my parents haden't stop deciding the name and so apparently my dad been using chatgpt to decide a perfect name like, seriously and he said that is should be Sam since there was a God name Sam (Samuel the Seer) So I think this is my parent final choice (try typing "what does Sam mean ?" on Google ).

Today for PE, we played football.

We discussed with the whole class about expectations while playing like man to man marking, positioning, and giving each other a fair amount of play time. (getting the ball)

A few minutes later, we split up into 2 teams and started the game.

For the first game, I played in goal as the ball kept going to another side and back. All of that work led to no goals but a very good amount of ball possession between everyone.

In the next game, I was referee and in this match, people were communicating a lot but there wasn’t much ball possession between everyone on the pitch. 

In the third match, I was set to play as a striker. 

This match however, was intense as there were 2 goals and a lot of ball possession between both teams. 

Beng Beng cleared the ball up and I got it and shot. I was praying that I wouldn’t miss the goal and luckily, it went in the bottom corner of the goal.

In the last 10 seconds of the match, Louis got the ball and dribbled past everyone to tie the game in the last 4 seconds of the match.

I can’t believe that I managed to actually finish this challenge!

I forgot to do some days and had to do three in one day. On some days, I was too lazy to even do this challenge but I managed to complete Slice of Life.

My class stopped doing Slice of Life because we had to do PYPX and I was the only person doing Slice of Life at home.

Somewhere during the middle of March, I completely forgot about this challenge and I thought that I couldn’t catch up but I did. Maybe I just doubted myself because of my laziness.

So my PYPX topic is about AI and deepfakes and how they affect politics, news and more. i chose this topic beasceu as soon as i heard aobut it i was very intrested in it.

Before we went against them all of us were very nervous but then at the end we manage to win so we were happy.

i really liked slice of life becasue it teached me how to do stuff regularly and it also teached me to use my time responibly.

I'm back and I lost my 2 day streak, it was a good try though. Well anyways this is the last day of SOL :( , I also sprained my finger AGAIN! It's also still a family thing. Well my dad came back from Canada, and he got me a birthday present, guess what it is!
