The content of this project is entirely up to you! Ask what you want to know. Suggest topics that you like. Ask about the culture (food, music, movies, books, sports, family life, traditions, festivities...). Tell your partner about the local news (also positive ones), happenings, your favourite places nearby. Show pictures of your home town and your home country in general. Play a song in your language and translate (a part of) the lyrics into English.

It's easier and faster to learn frases that just word lists. What do you say when you meet someone? How do you explain where you're from or how old you are? How do you introduce your family and friends? How do you order at the restaurant or at the café? How do you ask for directions if you're lost? How do you tell about your favourite books of movies? How do you tell about your hobbies and interests? How do you tell about your school or favourite subjects? How do you tell about your dreams?

If you wish to learn about the grammar, start with the simple stuff: one verb, one preposition, singular and plural. A native speaker is not a language teacher and may not be able to explain everything, so don't be worried if you don't know how to explain or if the explanation of your partner seems complicated. Look for support in the library on online, for example:

Italian for Finns:
https://yle.fi/aihe/artikkeli/2015/12/15/italia

Finnish for beginners (through English):
http://tasteoffinnish.fi/

If you are motivated to learn, you can look for supporting material online! There's plenty on free material available, and you might find useful material in the library, too. If you have questions, you can always turn to your partner.

That's up to you. It might be better to meet one or two times every week to get started. The meetings can also be short (20 to 30 minute meetings are recommendable), so it won't take too much of your time. Respect each others' time and wishes! If you can't make it to a meeting, make sure to let the other person know in time. If you loose the motivation, you need to let the other person know about it (it's not enough to tell Anri or your local ESN coordinator), don't just dissappear on them.

Zoom is easy to learn. In case of any any technical issues, it often helps if you leave the meeting and simply join again. You are free to agree on any other platform, too. In the first meeting make sure to exchange email addresses (and any other way of communicating, if you are used to using a specific service for messaging). Agree on who will schedule the meeting on Zoom and send the invitation link. Remember the time difference when scheduling!!! The free version allows meetings up to 45 minutes.
