A Holocaust is the destruction or slaughter on a mass scale, especially caused by fire or nuclear war.
The actual known Holocaust that took place in all of Germany is which took the lives of many Jews that were put into camps and killed by Nazis. Boko Haram are a group that cause mass destruction. They attacked Nigeria recently and have caused many problems with buildings and population. In 2016 they have made almost 30 attacks per month. Last Year in 2017, they caused just above 20 attacks per month. The Boko Haram attacks and the Holocaust are similar because they showed mass destruction of people and population. Elie's statement “...I could not believe that human beings were being burned in our time; the world would never tolerate such crimes.” from his book Night and the people today do not tolerate they terrible crimes at least not in the US because people who do get punished and jail time.
