1- warm up activity

(Whole groups and individuals)

- ss will help each other to guess the correct word from the shown picture. 

2- Reading and discussing the story.

( individual activity) 

- Teacher ask ss to read selected words

- Teacher ask ss to describe what they can see in using ( it is a .....) 

(Group activity)

- In groups of 5 students, each group match characters of the story with their names. 

- Ss check each other answers

Summative assessment

- Students should order the events of the story correctly. (Individual activity) 

2- students did amazing job in group activity, they read and match names with correct characters. I feel students were good enough in describing objects from the story using full sentence ( it is a .......). They found it easy to form sentences because they already practice through the unit. And all most students involved in that part mostly.    

3- If I taught the lesson again, I will give students the same activity of describing objects. But the group activity of ordering events  will be changed, because ss spend a-lot of time on it and need a big support on it. 

4- yes I will. All most all students were excellent in all lesson parts. 

5- For group activity, next time I will give clear instructions before starting the activity to avoid students’ questions during the activity. 

6- next class I will ask students to revise new vocabulary and will do a short activity about it.

1:~bring realia

    ~brainstorming ,that the learnars gave words of countable &uncountable

    ~group activity,sorting pictures

      ~Weak students had adoubt about the activity so,T helped them.

2: By giving the brainstorming they gave me more vocabulary.

~In the sorting activity(group activity) they were fast,enjoyable and active.

3:if I taught the lesson again i would do the same strategies that i used because i felt they were excited .

~throughout my planning of this lesson i think that mixing games with learning make students more active and enjoyable👍

 

I started my lesson with  five flash cards that related to the story.. That could help ss to understand the story  fastly.

Then i shown them a story and ask them simple questions
Then ask ss to cut and paste the pictures to order the events of the story to check wither they understood or not.

Give ss previous words related to the story to know general ideas about the story events

Show them the story in a video.. Was good because they know clearly how to order the story correctly.

Yes, because what i did was a great effort to make my students feel excited during lesson and i believe they gain new vocabularies with such a funny story 📌
