You are concerned about your students' attitudes toward English and toward language learning. You try to promote positive attitudes toward learning English. You wish to find out what your students' attitudes are and whether they change throughout the duration of a language course.
Currently the English language is considered the second language in the world since it has a significant number of speakers; It has become "Universal Language" since there is a large amount of scientific, technological and humanistic information where it is necessary to apply this language, which is why the need arises for students of the 21st century to take the initiative to learn and put put this learning into practice.
It is important to implement tools to achieve skills related to comprehension, oral and written expression; therefore, the cognitive and affective networks of the students must be combined through factors such as learning models, motivation, linguistic aptitude, attitudes, personality and age.
In a language course, it is necessary to develop learning strategies in order to improve the progress of students around the skills of the second foreign language by facilitating the internalization, storage and use of the new language; these stand out; cognitive strategies: these refer to the management of compendiums and language material directly (analysis, taking notes, summaries, diagrams, structures); metacognitive strategies emphasize reflecting on learning (own learning style, planning learning tasks, monitoring errors, etc.); memory strategies to relate topics the student memorizes and retrieves information (images, sounds, board, sheet, etc.); affective strategies that have to do with identifying mood and good performance. With the combination of the aforementioned strategies and with the support of other methodologies, students' aptitudes regarding their interest in the foreign language “English” can be improved.

I think that the most appropriate procedure to study the following situation “You are concerned about one of your students who always avoids sitting near the front of the class. This student seems to be paying attention, but rarely participates actively in lessons. You are not sure why. Since you have a large class, it is difficult for you to monitor individual students. You want to find out what this student's attitude is toward the class” is surveys and questionnaires, since through the surveys and questionnaires we can know the individual learning of the students to later compare it and take the necessary measures regarding the approaches, methods, didactic practices and materials taken by the teacher, perhaps the student does not participate in class because their learning style does not go according to the methodology exposed by the teacher

Surveys and questionnaires
Advantages

· student characteristics are better known

· provides significant data

· reliability of the data provided, as it is directly provided by the students
· greater precision in data

Disadvantages
· students don't always answer surveys honestly
· questions can be interpreted differently

As we well know in the 21st century, technology has a great influence on people's lives, it is present in all areas, since it is a tool that facilitates the obtaining of processes and knowledge, therefore educational eccenaries must go hand in hand with these kinds of advances and tools. The implementation of ICTs in the classroom is truly significant since it allows the interaction between teacher and student, for this the teacher must be clear about the correct movement and application so that they can be used in the best way, also the teachers Foreign languages must aim to train people not only in semantic and pragmatic terms, but also reflective, critical people, with autonomy capable of generating changes in society through the integration of ICTs as an effective instrument in relation to what to do pedagogically; For this reason, I consider as a future teacher that it is pertinent to strengthen skills and competences in terms related to the understanding and interpretation of messages (oral-written) as a dynamic and interactive medium and at the same time with the production of significant knowledge where the interaction between teacher-student; student-student using technological tools to exploit their potential and in turn generate knowledge in the foreign language. I consider that it is necessary to develop pedagogical proposals that are different from the traditional one whose purpose is to enhance reading, listening, writing and oral comprehension in the English language, it is important to emphasize the role played by the English language teacher whose purpose is to create didactic activities using ICT resources so that students can interact with native speakers or foreign language learners. Finally, the presence of sources of knowledge is significant, such as books that specifically incorporate these topics, specialists interested in the subject and the Internet in order to enrich and strengthen the argumentation of the ideas of using ICTs in teaching. of English. I think that this methodology would be good to keep in mind to present it in a seminar, learn about its applicability and thus obtain benefits in terms of acquiring new learning in the classroom.

You have been experimenting with a process approach for teaching writing (i.e., one in which you encourage students to go through a number of stages when completing a writing task, from planning to drafting to reviewing and revising). You want to find out if students actually find this approach useful and whether they use it on writing assignments outside of class.

Knowing facts that happen outside of class is a difficult task, as well as knowing students` behavior and attitudes or the effectiveness of an approach. Gathering this information may become an extensive task. So, I consider that the best option for gathering information about it is through surveys and questionnaires since these procedures are useful when participants cannot be directly observed. These procedures allow teachers to gather information in a systematic, structured and quick way through self-report of interviewees, in order to uncover the story behind a participant’s experiences and pursuing in-depth information around a topic. This procedure allows teachers to gather information in a quantitative (questionnaire) and qualitative (interview). The questionnaire is based on the interest in individual response and reflection, which characterizes the knowledge of the object of study. The interview is based on influencing people's behavior, opinions or feelings to make conclusions about the object of study.

Advantages

Speed of data collection

Inexpensive

Control over the types of information that they receive

Unbiased and truthful answers.

Practical

Fast result

Comparability

Easy analysis

Disadvantages

Dishonest answer

Unreliable and deceptive information

Grown interpretations
