This goes both ways and even in high school. For example, there is no girls football team and there is no boys badminton team at Bolingbrook High School. It's not like there's no interest in those sports for those genders either, at the badminton open gym today there were multiple guys playing and were interested in the sport. I also feel like there is probably another reason why there isn't equality in these sports that makes more sense than to say it is solely based on gender, but I also think there are stigmas surrounding sports where it is mostly seen as a "girls" sport or a "boys" sport. These kinds of stereotypes contribute to making a larger gender inequality gap. People should be able to do whatever they are interested in without being judged.
