The place called Gelato Italia. It is owned by an elderly couple. 

They use organic milk from a farm near Svendborg, genuine Belgian chocolate, vanilla seeds, and as much as possible locally grown organic fruits, or organic fruits of other origin, since it is quiet difficult to grow fruits like banana and mango in the Svendborg area, or Denmark in general.

They pasteurize the milk, freeze-blend it with the other ingredients, put it in the cold counter, ready to serv. They make fresh batches every day.They make their own waffles as well.

The variety of flavours include coffee, chocolate chip banana, tiramishu, italian eggnog, mint and liquorice. All together they have 17 kinds of ice cream and 5 types of sorbet.

What I think makes their ice cream special is the intensity and  

genuineness of the flavours. If you for example ask for a scoop of coffee  flavored ice cream, you will get a nice, creamy, bitter sweet icy espresso waffle of joy.

 So if you ever visit Svendborg,don’t forget to have an ice cream at Gelato Italia :)
