the topic is about how different cultures have their own set of sounds that make up their language.
it matters because one shouldn't feel bad to have one nor apologize for their way to pronounce words.
I used watercolors, pencils, thread, and gel pens. 

The majority of Malú's zines were about Mexican American issues, well this is similar since my first language is Spanish and I still have a Mexican accent when I speak English, I see most of Mexican teens apologize for their English accents (including me) it shouldn't be something we should be ashamed of.
