I'd like to thank a couple teachers from this year, and past years, at MNCA---

I'd first like to thank Ms. Culver for being such an amazing History teacher, NHS advisor, and HHC advisor- you've been so much fun to have as a teacher/advisor! :)

I'd also like to thank Mrs. Cole for being the best GTLA/GTLS teacher I've ever had, she's always extra enthusiastic about new books and stories, and she's always super helpful with different projects!

Lastly, I want to thank Mrs. Havelka (my 4th-grade teacher- also the first teacher I ever had at MNCA- She was the one who got me to stay at MNCA and she's the reason I'm now in NJHS), Mrs. Gerrels (a teacher that I definitely won't be forgetting anytime soon, she's is always so happy and it makes everyone else happy too), and Ms. Montoya (she played a huge part in me having a meeting with a U.S. Senator to talk about my Endangered Animals Petition, and she is also a huge part of the reason I'm now the NJHS President!)

I enjoy his Gifted and talented Language Arts and Literature classes. He lets us express our ideas. The lessons are fun as we have time to practice what we discuss. He is also willing to take extra time with me when I have something wrong so I can understand the questions at a higher level.

I never thought I would ever enjoy a math class, but while it may have taken twelve years, Mr. Lahr has made a math class that I have genuinely enjoyed. From pop culture references that have made me believe that even math can be actually fun, to explaining a topic in a different way that clicks with me better, to inventive project ideas, Mr. Lahr has always made an effort to meaningfully engage with students on their level. I am so thankful that while it took my entire educational career, Mr. Lahr showed me the creativity and love people could have for math and, in turn, made a statistics class not just palatable but deeply relatable and surprisingly enjoyable. Thank you Mr. Lahr!
