Aunque  fuimos allí solo una semana lo que más me ha gustado fue nuestra familia española; todos eran muy amables, corteses y habladores. Despedirme de ellos fue muy triste. La gente en Santiago es tan bonita como la ciudad, llena de monumentos, que todos tienen que visitar una vez en su vida. El museo que más me gustó fue lo de la peregrinación, que visitamos el martes y me encantó ver el oceano cuando fuimos a Finisterre. También las actividades que hicimos por la tarde fueron muy interesantes y divertidas, sobre todo los bailes Gallegos y la caza del tesoro, que mi equipo ganó. Si no fuera por la lluvia y por el tiempo atmosferico, habría sido el viaje perfecto, pero nos divertimos, a pesar del frío. La comida, aunque fuera diferente, me gustó muchissimo, sobre todo lo que cocinaba nuestra madre española y chocolate con churros. En primer lugar la familia era disponible y gentil, el piso donde vivía era bastante grande y las habitaciones eran muy luminosas porque tenían muchas ventanas.
Me gustaría levantarme a las 8 y ir a la escuela sólo tres horas cada día como allá,  pero no creo sea posible hacerlo en Italia también... La actividad que preferí fue entrevistar a la gente del lugar para pedir informaciones sobre la comida por ejemplo.
Me gustó mucho la zona antigua de la ciudad, pero también la nueva para ir de compras con mis compañeras. La cosa que es más diferente de Italia son los horarios: almuerzo a las dos y media, cena a las diez y todos (también los mayores) salen de marcha. 
Querría regresar, pero antes me gustaría visitar otras ciudades de todo el mundo

Su construcción empezó en el siglo XVI y terminó dos siglos después. Otros arquitectos trabajaron al proyecto, pero mantuvieron el diseño de López.
La fachada del monasterio es de estilo baroco. Dentro del monasterio hay dos claustros y un museo, donde se exponen muchas tallas, manuscrictos y pinturas.
