She explains how medication affects her symptoms. This video is interesting because she explains a coping mechanism she uses, that another person said makes things more difficult for them. This shows how different it is for every person. I really like this video because I feel like she explains how this affects her life well and gives her audience a good understanding.

Schizophrenia is a disorder that affects a person's ability to think, feel, and behave clearly. When it is in children it tends to be more sever and difficult to treat. Though, it is uncommon for young children to be diagnosed with schizophrenia. Due to the nature of the symptoms, doctors tend to wait to diagnose children until the age of 7/8. These symptoms may be: Hallucinations, Delusions, Disorganized speech, Disorganized or catatonic behavior, Negative symptoms (emotional flatness, apathy, lack of speech).
I chose this topic because I don't know much about it and I wanted to learn more. Through this experience, I have learned so much about the misconceptions and the reality of living with this disorder. I'm really glad I chose this topic and I feel that I have learned a lot.
