Did this book make you cry or laugh

For the most of the book I felt that it was mostly emotion free. It was interesting to read but, nothing over the top. Zane has a dog name Rosie. In the beginning of the book the dog gets "killed" by a creature called a demon runner. But even this part wasn't emotional at all because you soon find out that the dog is not dead but is trapped in the underworld. Nothing in this book was particularly funny; most of the things that were funny in the book made your mind laugh but, nothing that made you crack up on the outside while reading.

THIS PICTURE I MADE SHOWS HOW OVERTIME THERE IS ALMOST NO EMOTION

Describe what was either believable or unbelievable about your reading. Defend your opinion.

I would say that 98% of this book is unbelievable. The normal part of the book was the part where the book focuses on the Main character's( Zane ) home and social life. This part is believable because it talks about his parents and that he has a leg that is shorter than the other. They believable part also talks about his neighbors and what he does as a pastime. The Unbelievable part is when He meets a girl that can turn into a hawk. He also gets introduced to the fact that he is a part of a prophecy in which he is told that he will release a god of death.

This picture I have drawn represents that 98% is unbelievable.

Compare a character from your book to a character from another work of fiction. What are their similarities? What are their differences? Which character do you admire more? Why?

I have chosen to compare Zane(from storm runner) and Percy Jackson(from the Percy Jackson series). These characters are almost identical; not in the way they look, but in the way they act and their life in general. Both of these characters have trouble at school. Zane has trouble making friends and enjoying school and Percy has trouble getting good grades and staying out of trouble. Both these characters also have a unstable home life. They come from families that don't made much money but, still manage to have a decent life. Both these characters are also hidden from who they really are until something urgent pops up in the story.

In almost all the books I have read with a dog in it; the dog has died. When I found out that the Zane had a Dog I figured that the Dog would die by the end of the book and, I was not wrong. The First scene where the character was attacked the dog died This picture that I created On Paint 3d shows a few book where a dog has died.
