If you enjoy a very critical story about an imaginary dystopian future with political and historical content, you can't do better than 1984. This is my favorite politics novel of my life and I'm sure that you can enjoy it as much as me.
Its atmosphere about a distopic London after the word wars is so deep and dramatic that I can feel the control of the ministers of the book.
The story is about O'Brian and how he realized that everybody in London were controled by the Big Brother and the system of government that he and his party installed. Day after day, you can know how all your movements are following and your liberty doesn't exist.
My favorite part is when O'Brian try to fight with that and he discover interesting news around his objetive.

This book has been written by Dan Brown in 2000, it's a mistery thriller novel. The main character is a professor of symbology at Harvard University. He has to solve the murder of a famous scientist in his laboratory, the inquisitive thing is the way this scientist died. This novel involves many ambigrams, in addition to a religious group called the Illuminatti. Hidden messages that lead others to discover the murderer or murderers. All these experiences happen in the Vatican City.

The last book I've read was the first one of a trilogy written by Lauren Oliver in 2011. If you really enjoy reading about a futuristic world, romance and mistery, Delirium is the perfect choice.

The main setting as I mentioned is a futuristic world, more specifically in 2091 in Portland, USA. Where a young teenager named Lena Halloway lives with his aunt because she is an orphan. At first, what i really liked about the book is that it explains you that the totalitarian government of USA teaches people that love is a disease that makes people insane and that the only way to escape from going crazy and infected is by a mandatory medical procedure that makes you unable to feel anything ever again.

What makes this story so enjoyable is the fact that you aren't sure whats is going to happen next. After the main character falls in love in this kind of society the action and problems start. That's something I really love about the book, the fact that there a lot of plot twist that keep you entertained.

If you're into something interesting and mysterious, Crime and Punishment is the best option to read in your spare time. This is one of my favourite books that I read last year while I was at school and I really enjoyed it. Written in 1866 by Fiodor Dostolevski, this story tells you about a crime and how guilt can take over your mind.

This is my absolute favorite trilogy, it's a fictional novel that involves mystery, crimes and sports. Written by Nora Sakavic, the story takes place in Palmetto State University, in United States. A boy named Neil was recruited to be part of the exy team in Palmetto University, but what they didn't know it's that this boy was a bag full of lies, lies that led the team face the japanese mafia. I really liked the book because of the mystery the story has and the fact that the reader doesn't know the real identity of the protagonist, because he lies about his past. I highly recommend it because, even if it's not a well-known trilogy, the story it's very catchy and the characters are well described.

If you are into some clichés and classical american highschool plots, there's a perfect novel for you. This is my numer one YA story. Shuffle, Repeat was written by Jen Klein in May 3rd, 2016 and one of the things I really like it is how different is this novel compare to other american highschool stories.

This novel was written by George R. R. Martin in 1996 and is the first novel in Song of Ice and Fire. and it´s a fantasy novel.
The novel talks about families who fight to become in the King of the kingdom, but they don´t that the true fight is in other place. The novel have many characters but the principal are Robert Baratheeon, the king of the kingdom, Ned Stark, The Lord of the North, Danaerys Targaryen, the true heiress of the Kingdom and the family Lannister who started the war.
What makes this a classic fiction novel is the fact that the treason and loyalty, the compassion and the thirst for revenge, the love and the power, are going to take an important role in the development of the story.

Is about 4 friends (all of them are parents), they conform a group since they were kids, all of them act like childs when it comes to fun.

The main settings is Massachusetts (United States).

The main character is Lenny Feder, basically three years after the reunion that brought him back together with his childhood friends, Lenny returns with his family to his hometown to be closer to his friends.

I really recommend that movie if you want to laugh a lot, What makes this film fun are all the things they experienced, from make a huge party and finish fighting with teenagers and a deer to roll a woman on a tire all over the street.

This book is my favourite. It was written by Julio Verne. The story is about a group of young guys and a professor who wants to go to the center of the Earth. However, they discovered a new world inside of the earth with new species of animals, strange places that defy the pshysics.

The other thing that I loved is that each character have their own personality and it will determine the way that they will survive.

The book is about a crime that happens for the least expected person. Who discovers it's a woman who travels every day by train and in every trip she is discovering clues. I don't usually like these kind of books but this one was too good.

This film was directed by Roland Emmerich and is one of the best science fiction movies I've ever seen. One of the things i love is the suspense of the movie because there are a lots of situations were the protagonist is close to dying but he manages to be safe.
The main setting is in San Francisco, where the protagonist discovered that the end of the world is near and that there are some giant boats to save people with a lot of money. After he discover this, he take hhis family to a airlplane an start to search for the giant boat, and here is when adventure really start.

If you have ever been intrigued about how mental health and the process of theraphy is and you want to read about it, you can't do better than Maybe you should talk to someone. This is one of my favorite books about the journey of theraphy written by Lori Gottlieb, a phychotherapist, which I read a couple of months ago.
The main setting is her practice in Los Angeles. There she helps her patients who are looking for answers, but also you see her struggling with her own issues. That leads her to find help herself with a therapist, Dr. Wendell.
What makes this an interesting book are the unique characters with their own questions and issues that are bothering them. Also, you can read glimpses of psychology theories and she tries to explain the nature of human emotions.
Maybe you should talk to someone is a hugely recomended book, is funny and engaging, but also so insightful. It helps to understand the importance to normalize theraphy for everyone.

Written in 1945, this novel reflects how socialist utopia becomes a totalitarist State leaded by a few group of... porks. George Orwell develops his story using animals to establish the conflict with humans and the repression against the same animals who helped a revolution in their names.
The story tells the birth of a revolution by animals, kicking out Mr Jones, farm owner. Inmediatly, a group of porks, leaded by Napoleon, creates a dictatorship with heavy rules and freedom only for them.
One thing that I really like is how the story explains how easilly leaders can be corrupted when they access to the power. Metaphors are very clear and describe a society in totalitarism, with leaders complety separate from the people.

If you are really into fantasy adventure films, that can change the way you see the world, you should see this film directed by Tim Burton in 2010. You would enjoy the purpose of the film, that is make you think that everything can be possible.

The main idea of the film is about a 19 year old girl, called Alice, who was living a life that she didn't want to, then suddenly a lot of fantastic and unreal things happened, things that could change the way that she used see the world. This film have a live action version and an animated version, the live action version was filmed in USA.

This film have two main settings, the first in an old village with mansion and elegant stuff, the second is in another world, it looks like another dimension where everything was possible.

The fact that I loved about this film was the message that they tried to tell us, maybe if you are going through some hard times and you are thinking about give up, this film can motivated you to continue.
