2. Superstition- Jim and Huck  are both superstitious and it represents how they are more child like then mature.

- when he escaped from Pap and went into hiding. He was living on his own in the wilderness and had freedom.

- Jim was had become a runaway slave because he couldn't take how his owners were treating him. People were rude and judged Jim.
3. Friendship
-  Huck began to learn that Jim isn't so different. He didn't care what color he was and he was just glad he had someone to hep and watch over him.
Major lesson
-  I learned from this novel that you should never be alone. You should always have someone by your side and through your adventures. You'll never know if your going to need someone in the end. 
- This lesson connects to today's modern life because many people  try to fix problems and situations on their own. They try to act like they don't need help which makes situations even worse.
