         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>1. Reach New Markets -</strong> businesses can be restricted by the geographical area that they serve. Mouki Mou only has one store. By utilising sell-side e-commerce, the business is able to increase the number of consumers they can reach.<br><strong>2. Increase Customer Demand - </strong>by increasing their social media presence through introduction of a Facebook page, and an e-boutique - the business will be able to increase demand in their existing customer base, as well as attract new customers through increased brand awareness.<br><em><br>Marketing Approach - </em>increase social media presence through creation of Facebook page, e-boutique, and using Instagram to advertise products. Also collaborate with online bloggers and websites to raise awareness. <br><br><strong>3. Reduce Costs - </strong>having the ability to operate an e-boutique 24/7 can allow the business to shorten physical opening hours to save costs in areas such as rent and staff.<br><br><em>Marketing Approach - </em>increasing social media presence and awareness of e-boutique to attract customers to use this platform can reduce necessity of using physical boutique.<br><br><strong>4. Competitive Threats</strong> - many of the stores located near Mouki Mou are larger boutiques that have e-commerce platforms, e.g. PRISM, Whistles, Beige, Eileen Fisher. Mouki Mou being one of the only stores in the area that does not have an e-bouique is a large competitive disadvantage and may lead to a loss of market share to other stores that have e-commerce capabilities. <br><br><em>Marketing Approach - </em>creating an e-boutique will increase customer reach and increase market share and sales.</div>]]></description>

Costly to Make Change -</strong><br>The business will have to invest money in content for an online store and this is no cheap process.</div><ul><li>Website (design, shopping cart)&nbsp;</li><li>Content (taking professional photos of products)</li><li>Market research (understanding the consumers customers)</li></ul><div><em>- Marketing Approach: <br></em>Hire temporary expert staff for the initial start up, to design the website. This would save staffing costs. The business should contact the brands stocked in store to gain access to the original photos of the products to use on their website. By creating a Facebook page Mouki Mou has insight into analytics to view the age, gender and location of visitors to their page.&nbsp;<br><br></div><div><strong>2. Lack of Technological Skills: </strong>May lose customers due to the fact that many indivdiuals are not competent technology users. This could therefore mean potential sales are decreased and lost.<br><em>- Marketing Approach:</em> Keep the physical store for those who are not competent. Make your target market a younger audience to avoid lost sales. <br><strong>3. Time: </strong>Implementing a new system can be extremely timely and take already limited hours away from the businesses current business functions. <br><em>- Marketing Approach:</em> Hire a professional and allow the business to continue focusing on their competitive advantage<br><strong>4. Security: </strong>Customers may be hesitant to purchase goods online due to identity theft.<br><em>- Marketing Approach:</em> Liase with banking authorities to ensure secure banking occurs with purchases. Also invest in good software that will help to protect customer information. <br><strong>5. Increase Customer Base (cannot keep up): </strong>Although increased exposure will increase sales and therefore revenue, however this means your manufacturing will have to increase substatially to meet demand. Your business may not have the staff, space or funds to carry this out. <br><em><br></em><br></div>]]></description>
